Is my plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? Kinda. I have a few ideas on exactly what I'm going to do. it all depends on where I am when the outbreak starts.
Will I be staying in my home or headed somewhere else? Somewhere else.
If I'm heading out, how do I plan to get there? It's a short distance so i can walk/ ride a bike, but i will drive for as long as i can.
Got anyone I want to take with me? My family has many skills that are valuable. I have a former marine, two mechanics, a nurse, a general contractor, a trapper, three hunters, a farmer, and everyone can fish. (some of the skills overlap)
How will I communicate with the outside world, or do I plan to go the hermit route? I will attempt to comunticate after my fortress' defenses are fully up. Before that though we will have radio silence.
How am I planning to get food and water? hunting, traping, fishing, and farming for food and there is a large lake about 1/2 a mile away and an average size creek within 20 yards.
What’s my weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? crossbow for ranged because it is silent and the bolts can be reused (saving gunpowder for other uses)
Got a survival philosophy? the more you try to do the more there is to go wrong. K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid.
Am I willing to hook up with other survivors? Pending they are willing to surrender weapons temporarily and go though a probationary period to determine their motives
Is my plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist other survivors may have heard of? a combination of books and my own research and experiences
