a) I definitely believe zombies are a very real threat. b) I believe it is possible. c) I have my doubts about zombies. d) I don't believe in zombies for the time being. e) I'm a strong disbeliever and it would take a lot to make me believe. I am at b). While I haven't seen much yet to make me believe they're real, I believe they could become real.

Next month, my girlfriend and I are planning to move from the Southern tip of the Lone Star State to my home state, the Show Me State --- Missouri. To commemorate the move, I want to see one picture of your EDC setup! Show Me what you carry on an everyday basis!
RULES: ~Submit one (1) tasteful digital photograph of YOUR Every-Day Carry setup. ~Post the picture to your profile or to the appropriate photo album. -- http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/photos/album/203584/July+2012+%22Show+Me%22+EDC+Photos -- ~Picture must contain substantive proof that the image is *your* property. There are no set requirements for entries, but those that are not up to snuff will be rejected until they meet this requirement. ~Every item must be legal to carry in your area, and your entry photo must contain things that you ACTUALLY carry on your person or keep accessible on a day-to-day basis. ~Contest entries will be accepted from July 1st to July 30th. No exceptions. Entries posted sooner than 7/1/12 or after 7/30/12 will not be accepted. ~This inner will be determined by VOTE, sent to me (LJ126) via PM. ~Voting will begin July 31st, and last until August 6th. ~The only people eligible to vote are site members who have participated in the contest. If you want to participate in the vote, submit an entry. ~You may not vote for yourself or your own entry. ~The contest host (LJ126) reserves the right to amend or adjust the rules of the contest throughout next month as necessary and to accept or deny any entry for any reason. This contest is just for fun. At this point, I have not planned any prizes yet. That could very well change throughout the month. ... I celebrate my fourth anniversary here at the ZSDW. It's been one helluva ride.
I've seen site members come and members go, made many friends and several very close ones, and met the most important person in my life -- all here at the ZSDW. Several years ago, my friends here helped motivate me to quit smoking cold-turkey after a two pack-a-day habit of 12 years, and working on the site would keep me distracted enough to defeat the temptations to flick a Bic and take a drag. I'm still smoke-free three years later. Advice I received from some very knowledgeable members here helped me lose and keep off over 100 pounds and introduced me to martial arts and powerlifting; the only sports this fat kid was ever good at. A few folks her even helped this high school drop-out with his homework and a few essays, and I've since graduated college with honors. In short, the ZSDW and her members has helped pick me up and keep me going; you've all unknowingly helped to make me a more complete person. And it's been a whole helluva lot of fun! I would like to thank each and every one of you for making this community what it is today and for giving me the privilege of being an Administration member here. I look forward to what the future holds for the ZSDW - and trust me, some pretty exciting things are coming soon. I've been busting ass behind the scenes to bring changes that I think you guys might really enjoy and from which you'll benefit greatly. Stay tuned! ~Jon L. (LittleJon126)

Thought I'd share a little story from last night for some light morning reading.
Last night around 11:30 I was laying down to go to bed. Suddenly I hear a loud crash. To describe, it sounded like people crashing through drywall or a closet door. My next door neighbor is an older woman who lives by herself. I thought she was being attacked so I grabbed my .45 and ran outside. Once I get outside, I see what really happened. Two drunk teenagers lost control of their car and drove it over a bunch of trash bags (dragging trash everywhere) and slammed their car into the side of my neighbors house. Then I had the pleasure of my terrified neighbor and two drunk girls look over and see a grown ass man standing outside in his boxers holding a pistol. I asked if everyone was ok (they were) and I went back inside :$ To everyone here (especially you teens)...please do NOT drink and drive.

To any moderator with pertinent information:
I checked my Inbox tonight and found a message from about a day ago. The member who sent it was marked as banned, which means that he or she must have been banned within the past 24 hours. The member was claudiababy55. Anyway, I'd like to find out whether this was a mass PM, or if I was one of a relatively small group targeted. Also, does it seem that this was regular, bothersome troll activity or was it something more malicious (attempt to pass infect with a virus, etc.)? Thank you for any information.

You could also use an angle grinder to reduce surface area on the hammer side, making a +. Kind of like this.

CLIMATE: The predominal wind direction in the Netherlands is southwest, which causes a moderate maritime climate, with cool summers and mild winters. Okay now I might be a black sheep on this but I don't make it a habit of checking the Codes of Conduct regularly. Might I suggest that when a rule is changed the Mods/Admins send out a sitewide PM to notify us? Just a general outline of the change and/or reasoning for it if required and the CoC page link.

Guys,
Let me make it crystal clear that the ZSDW always has and always will have a zero tolerance for trolling and baiting, and that offending parties will be permanently removed from our online community. I hate to be forced to bring this topic up yet another time, but the correct course of action when someone is trolling either you personally or the forum itself is to report the incident to the volunteer staff so that the content can be locked. One of our moderation team will be with you as soon as humanly possible. I would also like to remind you that those members who resort to childish antics do so out of desperation; they lack the maturity or intelligence to bring about meaningful change using conventional methods. I have a quick question and I apologize if this isn't in the proper place...
Is there a way to see when the last time a member was logged on to the site? Not necessarily posting or contributing anything, but maybe just checking on their profile or something. I have been trying to invite members as friends, but haven't had any luck (maybe they're ignoring me!) Then I investigate further and see that they haven't posted anything for 2 years or haven't even created their profile page or something. I haven't had any activity for a while (other than this thread and a few profile updates) but I log on often to do some research and see what's going on. I just thought if there was something in a member's profile that said when he/she was last logged on, other members could have an idea on how active that person is or if they are even still around. Just a thought....

I alerted folks that I was going to be afk for a quick shower and I got kicked for being "inactive".
Could somebody please address this issue? That doesn't seem very friendly.
