When my team trains, we use airsoft. But we try to make it as realistic as possible.
Like if your weapon is hit, it is disabled. But your still in the game, you just have to find a way to survive. Parlay and Mercy rule are non-existent. If I sneak up behind someone, I actually pretend to knife them or do any other various stealth kill. If players run into each other, or otherwise get close, they engage in hand to hand. There is no parlay or mercy rule. We try to make it as realistic as we possibly can to get at least some feel for the real thing. And yes, we do take safety measures before and during training.

I didn't know they had a rocket launcher! That's funny as hell getting pelted by BB's!

Any feedback goes here.
The page is going to be blank for a little bit, as I have a large chunk of text to format and finish.

This one can be scary if played correctly....
Teams; Hunters, Ragers Team Size: Team Hunter: 8 Team Rager: 12 Time Limit: 30min, usually lasts 10-15 minutes Skill training: Teamwork, Operating Under Stress, Gear Evaluation, Evasion, Stealth, De-Sensitzation Mission: Team Hunter has located passcodes for a secure vault containing a vaccine for the Rage Virus, the facility is 10 Klicks North of the area but the area is Hot with Ragers, therefore Team Hunter has radioed in for a chopper to fly them to their final insertion point so they can complete their mission. In order to clear the LZ for Extraction, Team Hunter has to dispatch all the Ragers in the area within 30 minutes without losing 3/4 of its team, otherwise it's become too risky for the chopper to land so it is imperative that this mission be completed with as few casualties as possible. Team stats: Hunters are in full gear, their objective is to survive for 30 minutes and kill the Ragers, if 3/4 of the team is lost, then the mission has failed. Rager Objectives: Turn at a minimum 3/4 of Team Hunter into Ragers, To Turn a member of Team Hunter into a Rager, actually slashing the member, throwing them down, grabbing and [moderately, don't draw blood] biting them or similar Rager Actions [No flesh eating] are acceptable. Ragers should first listen to heavy, hard and fast music as well as drink energy drinks to get fired up, when charging an opponent they should yell savagely as if they're hungry for some fresh meat, this adds to the realism as well as the intimidation factor. How many rounds it takes to kill a Rager depends on the replica of gun....A higher caliber gun deals more damage, check out the weapons pages here at the ZSDW and draw your own conclusions. Give it a try and tell me what you think, I thought it up myself and I personally love playing it : D
