First off,population.This depends on the current area.If you are caught in Nha Trang or Phan Thiet,or in the mountainous area watching native lives like Central Highland or the North-western part of Vietnam,then you will got a 50% chance higher.Because most of Vietnam 80 millions people love to have a chance to improve their lives,most people are concentrated at large cities...or at highly fertiled delta.Avoid those place.
2 Geographic. Vietnam is mostly mountainous.These jungles is a nightmare.If malaria,cholera, haven't killed you yet,then bandits, will .Contrast to what the goverment claim,the mountainous area is full of danger,many bandits or death row inmates who escape gather up there to feast on anyone.But because the goverment don't want you to know,they simply look over it.This can real be trouble some.Or you can use the river,which you can travel safely to Cambodia,Laos,to Thailand then you can travel to any country else.
3 Gun law: Whatever you do,DON'T CARRY GUN.The communist goverment is paranoid about people revolt against them,so they take strict measure at this problem.Weapons are out of the question.If you carry a gun, it would be 10 years in jail.airsoft,sword are prohibited,and can range from a heavy fine to jail.And don't buy kelvar vest,army boot,army bag...these are consider illegal and could be jailed
4 Resource. Fishing and hunting is not possible due to extensive killing and pollution.Live on looting. And there are not many trees so capentry is out of the question.
5 Goverment Don't expect these corrupt pigs.Coward,greedy...etc, 90% cops and politicians are corrupted. They and the military will be first to flee,or become raider so they are your enemy.And they are undertrained,low morale,underequiped so don't try to ask for help from them.

Okay, first off, singapore is pretty crowded and weapons are illegal. So the only thing we can do is to fortify our homes and stack up on enough resources to survive the panic.

Precaution plan: Stock up on canned food in a ready bag along with a first aid kit. Re-stock food when it's one month to expiry. Minimum 15 cans. That will get you through two weeks if you have one can a day

Panic plan: Stay home, fortify home. the roads will be too crowded. Most 7/11s will be empty or closed. Restaurants will be closed and supermarkets will be closed or out of stock. Make sure that you have enough supplies for a week, so add 7 more cans of food to your emergency bag

Post-Panic Plan: Evacuate home and find a bomb shelter. If bomb shelters are locked or over-crowded, Evacuate to an office or school (yes, I know school will kill you) and fortify a small classroom or meeting room. Do not attempt to fortify the whole office or school as that will take too many people and there will be a lot of open, uncovered areas.


Weapons: Since singapore does not allow guns, we will have to make our own weapons. A kitchen knife attached to a short bamboo pole will be a good mid-short range weapon. A shovel would do the same.

First-aid kit: General first aid needs, along with a swiss army knife.

Emergency Bug-in/out Bag: 25 cans of canned food. 5 litres of water, a jacket or a blanket. This will weigh about 5-7kg.
