Struck small convenience store two miles past RV supercenter; found in 75%+ condition and majority of goods packed/transported: also found three separate multi-car wreckages, one involved state trooper vehicle.

Mission 02-01 [Completed]

Purpose: Rescue of trapped Beacon scavenger party
Objective: Safe retrieval of citizen & elimination of threat
Logistics/Forces: (x3) vehicles and (x7) personnel, ranged high-powered weapons, molotovs.
Found: Citizen (Carnack) rescued.
Expended: (x15) .556x45mm , (x4) 9mm, (x2) 12 gauge OO

Enemy Casualties: 4 hostiles KIA, 2 hostiles probable KIA, 1 hostile taken captive. 7 zeds eliminated. Mission 03-01 (Operation Hammerhead) [Active]
Date: 5/12/10 - 5/15/10
Purpose: To eliminate high fidelity threat.
Objective: Destroy enemy forces, obtain enemy resources, expand territory and safe zones.
Current Intelligence: Enemy combat forces of at least 27 (possibly more), located approx 3-4 miles from Beacon boundary; extremely well-armed and dangerous.
Logistics/Forces: Will require 40 or more combatants, weapons-all types, IEDs, molotovs and preparation of ambush site; deception plan for ruse (mini-van type vehicle, 1 male, 2-3 females and 1 'child'), radios.

The main area of the compound contains a supply depot. and a connected garage, the armory, two large fuel containers, the main base complex with three large generators behind. There are guard towers on each of the four corners of the compound as well as a few scattered tents.

We will attack at night in order to keep the element of surprise.Each tower is 20 ft in height, each containing 4 guards. Instead of blasting our way in, we will take out the guard towers nearest to the front with rifle fire.
I am open to suggestions on the rest of the attack plan. All my plan shows is that I can draw pretty pictures, that might as well be painted in our men's blood. I am new to this and could use some help from people with more experience.
MD EDIT: If this was a briefing to me, I would ask the following questions:
-Will this be a night, day, dawn, dusk attack?
-How high are the towers? 15, 20, 30 ft?
-Why would you attack from what appears to be their strongest point?
-There are 2 towers in view of that corner and can probably strike it with rifle fire easily.
-What makes you think they will only come out piecemeal after an explosion?
-Have we tested this explosive before? How do we know the effective blast radius?
-Do they have an early warning detections system? Dogs?
Mission 04-01 (Military Surplus Raid) [Active]
Date:
Purpose: To gather military uniforms and other necessary gear for the BDF & militia.
Objective: Clear the store of any zeds/raiders, gather supplies for military.
Current Intelligence: I performed a scouting run to scope out the store. There are no raiders in the area, and the building looks to be clear. Even though it looks perfect we will still have a sufficient guard force to back up the loaders and drivers. However, a good deal of equipment seems to have been stripped pretty bare.
Logistics/Forces: 12 guards, 18 loaders, and 4 drivers. A total of 24 men. All guards outside the store should be equipped with a rifle, and sidearm. The guards inside should be equipped with a shotgun, and sidearm. All loaders should be carrying sidearms, and can carry a shotgun if they so choose. All drivers should be equipped with a sidearm. All the men should be carrying radios. One M79 grenade launcher available.Found:Expended:

Here are the basics of the map. Green dots are guards, guards are stationed around the vehicles and inside the store.
-Black dots are loaders, their job is to grab as much gear as they can, and load it into the vehicles.
-The blue dots are the drivers.
-Black squares are vehicles.
-Red objects are targets such as shelves, display racks, the gun counter, and doors.
One more group. There are (x6) snipers on the roofs adjacent to the store. You can't see them, but trust me. they can see you.
Apart from the gear needed for the mission, we will also need a plexiglass breaker for the gun counter.
The main part of the mission is simple; grab, load, repeat. Unfortunately the door where munitions and body armor is held is pretty tough. We may need either a cutting torch, if we have one, or someone with EOD experience to blast through the door without harming the gear inside, or the loaders (who will be cleared from the building) if we choose to blast it open. So, do we have any Sappers around?
Mission 5-1 (Submitted, inactive.) Purpose: To liberate certain supplies (namely books supplying information on needed topics) from a town around 20 miles from Beacon.Objective: Very small town. There are a few heavily-looted houses, a police station, a gutted gas station, and an un-looted bookstore. Also, Hell_Raiser mentioned that an amublance may be along the way.Current Intelligence: I drove through on my way here two days ago. It seemed to be the site of a raider skirmish, as there were a lot of corpses. Very few potential hostiles, though; only nine zombies spotted.Logistics: Not very many people needed. At most, four scavengers and two guards. Two vehicles are likely needed.
