I have a 18 month old fact is I'm not going to leave her behind or anything else like that. She has been worked into my plan and my plan revolves around her. After all what is the point of surviving without the possibility of a future. Instict takes over as well and anyone that doesn't have the instict to try to save an inocent child is sick.

I would think that one would need to procreate, to fill up the massive void left by zombies, but ONLY in a safe zone, completely free from zombies and highly protected. You wouldn't wanna go and make babies in an unsafe environment. you would just be adding more to Zack's ranks. And if you meet any children in Zombie territory, that'd be a hard choice, depending on the armament, training and general competence that you and fellow survivors have. should you take the little kid you found hiding in his mom's pantry, clutchin' his father's antique matchlock pistol, or leave him for Zack? that choice is up ta you.

Heavy subject. Last summer my best friends gave birth to thier second child, an adorable little girl. We all love her, and her older brother to pieces. What bothers me is how the apocolypse would effect them, both physically and mentally. Because I'm still single, and have no one depending on me, I feel I can take care of myself rather well, but my friends, both from upper- class, professional families, don't have a larger understanding of the dangers of the world, either Real or Zombified. I have tried to impart some of the more practicle aspects of preparedness on them, and they have taken the lessons to heart.
Still, it scares me as to how the future could deteoriate, and they will not be able to cope as well as others. As to having babies in the post-Zombie world. Humans will eventually begin to procreate, if not for the practical reason, but due to simple emotional need.
