Black Sheep isn't actually a zombie movie. It's a parody of Werewolf movies, as well as having the Farmer/sheep jokes as well.-DevilMayCrye
Kia ora! I agree with DevilMayCrye -- it's more werewolf (were-sheep!) than zombie, with a Frankensteinian "tampering-with-nature" element on top. But a fine flick nonetheless: epic scenery, good performances, and sheep-based suspense. Joe-Bob would say "check it out," if I'm not mistaken. - SpicyBrenda
I have seen Black Sheep and it is sweet mutant-sheep yummy goodness! If you enjoyed the left of center humor from Undead, you will enjoy Black Sheep. It's beginning is a little off center, and at first, you may kinda worry about the main character's acting ability, but the second some other characters appear, such as the two environ-MENTAL activists...all starts to come together the way only a homicidal sheep movie can. Part of the sheer brilliance (and part of what makes it funny) are the shots of watching people scream in terror at normal (or ARE they?) sheep. And folks, the special effects for this treat were done by none other than the WETA workshop (seen LOTR by chance? YEAH those folks), and they put just as much psycho sheep love (sheep love? RUN!) into this movie as they did LOTR.
