Blademaster_01's Survival Plan
Part 1: Bugging In
Considering that an outbreak will most likely occur in the city, a more heavily populated area, those living in suburb areas (like me) will have time to put together a kit and run.
Part 2: Bugging Out
Assuming the above is true, than i will have ample time to get to my BOL with all of my gear.
Part 3: Digging In
Basically, I intend to take over a farm and fleet. There will be the proper equipment, an assortment of weapons, and an auto body shop for vehicles. This way also it wont be to large and therefore less likely to be noticed, easier to barricade, and more efficient in its defenses. Eventually we would be able to move to a more suitable location for living, and a building would be constructed that met our needs.
Part 4: Living
After this point comes the hard part. Any food in the store will rot, this will be true of most stores, however at first I'll send out small salvaging parties to a grocery store. After that we may need to begin planting and growing, which will have to take place in the new specialized buildings. Other supplies will be able to last longer and a farm and fleet would not run out to quickly. After that only time can tell.
