with an assault weapon like an AR-15, you dont have much chance of a headshot. it would take alot of practice to handle its recoil & it jams easily. all the looters will flock to walmarts, ocstcos, supermarkets, & malls, stealing the food, seeds for farming, guns, ammo, & if they dont, the guys working at the wall mart will hold out there with access to all the guns & if would need their permission & to cooperate if you just wanted to spend the night there. & zombies are alot sronger than you think. although their lack of coordination & inability to pump blood & repair damaged tissue disallows them to run, jump, climb, swim, etc. they have alot of strength & just 1 could take the bumper off a truck & you do not want to drive a truck with no bumper. so i suggest heading to the woods & raiding local grocery stores & such.
