Introduction:
If you live in Burbank or around the Burbank area, your best shot at survival, when confronted with a zombie attack, is to get your assigned group together and meet at Burbank High School. Me and my group will be the first group there and we have supplies, but still bring whatever food and weapons you can. Anything will help.
Attributes:
Like most public schools these days, Burbank High was built like a prison. Burbank High School has a metal fence that runs around the school, and there areplaces in the school that can be locked from the inside. Along with themetal fence there is also a chain link fence. The school has a multi-layer parking lot with a direct exit into the main street of Burbank that can also be locked with the metal fence. Besides being a easily defendable location, this parking lot has other uses. There are tennis courts on top of the parking lot, and chances are there will be a few cars in the parking lot when Z-Day strikes. These can be used to our own ends.
All classrooms have solid metal doors with locking mechanisms. And most classrooms are connected to each other, so if you need to make a quick exit from one, just slip out the back. :) There is a cafeteria on the school premises, so there is some food already there, and facilities to cook food. However, the cafeteria is on the ground floor and has large windows, so if zombies breach the metal fence, then we're kinda screwed. Which brings me to my next point.
Floors. Counting the ground floor, we have three floors, and the roof. Stairways are quite narrow and could either be barricaded or guarded easily. From the roof you get a great view of the city (remember to bring deckchairs for the sunset), and sentries on the rooftop should be able to spot any action, zombies, or more survivors easily.
Also the P.A. system will prove helpful in issuing orders or alerting people to a breach. Very good in my opinion :)
BIG NO NO'S!
The library is very useful for suicide by zombie. Though it might look like paradise at first glance, it's a death trap. Sure, it has an abundance of computers and books with carpeted floors and a second storey, but it also has huge windows that are at floor level that overlook the street. So, anyone (or anything) outside can see who is in the library quite easily. The only advantage of the library is that it you can only get in through two heavy metal doors. However, the windows could be smashed, making the doors useless.
Also, stay away from the field. Might sound like a no-brainer, but you will be surprised who will flee to a big open field when panic strikes. Remember, just keep your head, and if zombies get in, alert the rest of us. And, if everything goes to plan (which it most likely will), we will have the weapons to quickly and efficiently dispose of them.
Summary:
Pro's: Chain-link fence, metal fence, three floors + open rooftop, excellent visibility. Parking lot with entry to main street, can be blocked. P.A System for alerts. Cafeteria has facilities for cooking food + some supplies there already.
Con's: Cafeteria has large windows, field is vunerable to attack.
Transportation: Some cars in parking lot, average cars.
Survivors: Me and my crew, and anyone else who turns up.
Will I allow more survivors: Definitely. The more survivors the better, as so long as they bring guns and supplies with them.

Good concept...bad idea! I have said it before...to many windows in a school. Ok you have steel doors with locks...great now you are trapped in a classroom with hundreds of zombies walking in the hallways. Maybe Burbank High School is different with the window situation...but i doubt it. No way you could board up all of those windows even with lots of help, there just isnt' enough nails, wood and other related materials in the school
