Is your plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?Well...since my plan consists of my home being the place to stay...my home town.
Will you be staying in your home or headed somewhere else?
Staying in my home. My home is very old and has huge windows that are 6 feet off the ground. we'd only have to cover the bottom half and still get light into the house. Plus the basement windows and doors and some of the back windows to our house.
If you are heading out..how do you plan to get there? Got anyone you want to take with you? How will you communicate with the outside world, or do you plan to go the hermit route? How are you planning to get food and water? Well the only times we would leave is to gather family and locate food. The first wave of attack we would sit it out. I would contact our family and tell them to hide. I have never in my years of watching movies have I ever seen zombies look behind or under couches...beds i've seen them look but not couches or fireplaces or cabinets. So that is where we would hide. Then when it seemed to calm down, I would place our daughter (who is 4 months old now, just incase we didnt make it) in the top cabinets (yet again I live in a old home...the cabinets are 10 feet off of the floor). She would be placed on her foam mattress and covered with blankets and given her stuffed dog and her binkie...to keep her calm. Then my husband and I would get into our car and we would first go to my mothers house and grab my mother and stepfather, their cat;dog;gerbil;mouse (of course we'd set the gerbil and mouse free) but we would keep the cat and dog (you never know...they may come in handy). When we found them okay and not bitten, My husband would go get his two children at their moms in canal fulton and I would have my mother and step father get into each of their cars and follow me to get my husbands father and stepmother and their two dogs. After that we would go to home depot and walmart...grab as much wood and nails, hammers and drills, food and water, formula and diapers, dog food and cat food as we could (of course we'd drive our cars through the store...dunno where the zombies are.). Then we would all return home...park our cars in the garage (so no living person could steal them and crash them) I would do a thourough sweep of the house and kill any one or any zombies that may have gotten into our home while we were gone (I'm serious...if any humans were to be in my home when i got back...bye bye!). Then we'd all work on boarding the windows and doors shut. Then we'd all sit down...and wait it out.
What's your weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?
Yes...a gun. Yes I need to reload it. Yeah...get several guns. But if I am in a surprise zombie attack...I always keep my scissors next to me wherever I go.
Got a survival philosophy?
Yeah...Take no survivors. It gets you into trouble. Become less human...become the enemy in thought, personality and mind. Thats the only way we will survive. If you have compassion and you let others in when you have a solid plan...you are screwed...if they werent in the original plan...then they dont need to be weaved into the plan. They bring attention to you and then where will you be? Snacked upon by zombies.
Are you willing to hook up with other survivors?
No. Not untill all zombies have died from hunger or nuked. Survivors get you into trouble.
Is your plan based on a book/movie/blog/scientist we may have heard of?
Movies. 28 days later (totally scared of the fast zombies cuz i cant run. lmao) dawn of the dead (yet again fast zombies...damn them!) 28 weeks later (smart zombies...*grabs shotgun*) Night of the living dead (not afraid of the slow zombies...I hope we get slow zombies...)
