1. Iceland - Half the island is ice covered year round, bad for Zack. The government lets prison inmates out to go hunting, large number of people that have and know how to use weapons, bad for Zack.

10. Southeast U.S. - Lot of people have guns and stockpiles of everything, tight knit communities, these people are not going anywhere. Hurricanes and floods have been a fact of life since before the white man, people rebuild and get on with their life.

12. Singapore- This area already has many pirates, not to mention being the largest seaport in the world. Most of the country's population will flee to the seaport...

I've lived on a boat in SE Asia for 2 years. And Singapore's about the safest place in the whole region. Sure, everywhere'll get people like pirates and raiders. Singapore's no different - it's also a freaking massive island. It has a massive, sprawling city on it, and that only covers a *bit* of the island. There's a few towns, the airport, and a shitload of jungle. And everyone fleeing to the seaport? "Oh Mr. Fuel Tanker? Can I get a ride?"

Also, if anywhere has a chance of surviving the Z-Day Apocalypse, it's Singapore. They're borderline facist - the cops will throw you in jail for a year, FOR SPITTING ON THE FOOTPATH. They don't even have free speech - these guys would happily shoot everyone who looks infected. However, Singaporeans aren't allowed to own guns - as the case is in quite a few countries. Bring your own. Or ask a cop nicely for his assault rifle. (have you seen theirs? They are SWEET.)

But I wouldn't go there straight away - the city goes like this. Just about everyone lives in 15-25 storey units and flats, mostly government developed. Other than the president's house, there aren't any houses on the whole goddamned island (except for the less dense regions, where they live in huts above the water. xD) And what happens once everyone's a zombie? No food. Certainly not enough food to support all of them. After a year or so, I honestly think that there'll be a manageable number of the bastards.

Or, the army will move everyone to Sentosa Island, a little bit of reclaimed land that's part rainforest, part amusement park. A bit like a Manhattan with no buildings on it.
