Tell us: I have a well defensible second story apartment. It's large enough to comfortably house my wife and I, along with any friends who might make it to us. There is only one entrance from ground level, and it has an iron outer door, a wooden inner door, and immediately starts up the staircase. The plan is to barricade the wooden door with two-by-fours wedged against the bottom of the stairs. About half way up, the stairs will be destroyed. If zombies somehow make it in, there are enough ways to access the roof to fall back to other points. I continually keep a stock of water and plan on getting bulk non-perishable foodstuffs. In the event of needing to stock up, there is a small supermarket directly across the street.



Is your plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere? All I need is my private castle, baby!


Got anyone you want to take with you? Definitely my wife. I have a few well armed and prepared friends who might hole up with me.

How will you communicate with the outside world, or do you plan to go the hermit route? FTW.

How are you planning to get food and water? Stocked, if I have to we can scavenge from nearby locations.

What's your weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that? I currently have a 12 gauge with over 100 shells tucked away. For my birthday, I'm hoping for a .45 USP (emoticon), and I all ready have a sturdy bokken I'm comfortable with using.
