This is the supporting information page for a scenario where you have a convoy (listed below) and have to make decisions about it.

Each group described below are families, relatives or close friends, so each group will NOT split up.

Total Convoy: 13 Vehicles, 44 People

You have command of this convoy for the next 4 weeks. Each week you must roll a random encounter and apply it to a random group. "2d6" means to roll two regular 1-6 dice.

Random Weekly Encounters (Roll a 2d6 die for result):

2) Fuel leak causes truck to catch fire and burn. You lose vehicle and it's cargo.
3) Raiders hit convoy and truck is destroyed in the fire fight.
4) Truck wrecks and is out of commission due to damage.
5) Truck breaks down mechanically and will not run.
6-9) Minor breakdown - convoy must stop and repair vehicle OR abandon it. Includes time spent to scrounge or fabricate parts for the repair and the time to actually do the repair.
10-12) Nothing Happens.

1) Hotel - Engineering and Medical
2) Charlie - Command
3) Whiskey - Infantry Support
4) Sierra - Communications and Engineering
5) Kilo - Logistics Support
6) Tango - Logistics Support
* Use an odd or even roll to determine which vehicle is effected.

Example:

Week 1: Roll 2d6 Encounter = 11(Nothing Happens)

Week 2: Roll 2d6 Encounter = 7 (minor breakdown and repair); Roll 1d6 for Group = 4 (Sierra); Odd/Even Roll = 5(Odd - means 2-1/2 ton Military truck)

Week 3: Roll 2d6 Encounter = 10 (Nothing Happens)

Week 4: Roll 2d6 Encounter = 4 (Truck wreck); Roll 1d6 for Group = 5 (Kilo); Odd/Even Roll = 1 (Odd - means Ford Van is out of commission) What do I do about it? Why?

"Hotel" (11 People) Vehicles: Fuel Truck (2,500 gal. diesel) Dump Truck with Tag Trailer - Trailer has Backhoe on it. - Dump Truck bed converted to sleeping quarters and carries groups personal gear. EMT Truck - Carries all the medical supplies for the convoy. Description: 1) Leader: Male (42) - Convoy scrounger and general go-to-guy for anything you need to find or fix. He reloads ammo for everyone and is a good fighter with lots of hunting and survival experience. Drives the Fuel Truck. 2) Female (38) - Emergency Veterinarian that has proven that she can proved medical treatment for humans as well as animals. Cool under pressure and good shot. She is your convoy's primary doctor. Drives the Ambulance. 3) Female (64) - Good health and mother (or grandmother) to entire group. 4) Male (34) - Airplane pilot and good shot, but not a hunter or fighter. Usually helps with guard duty and rides "shotgun" in Fuel Truck. 5) Male (35) - Construction equipment operator and truck driver. Has experience hunting and is a good fighter. Drives Dump Truck with equipment trailer. 6) Female (36) - Good driver and good shot, but not a fighter. 7) Female (30) - Good driver and good shot, but not a fighter. 8-11) Children: Male (12), Male (2), Female (4), Male (6)
"Charlie" (5 People) Vehicles: Ford F350 4x4 Super Duty Crew Cab Pickup with Water Tank (500 gal.) - One of 2 trucks that carries the convoy's water supply. 35' Class A Winnebago Sightseer RV - RV is "headquarters" vehicle for entire convoy. Has full kitchen, Heat & A/C and satellite dish. - Has primary sleeping quarters for group. Description: 1) Leader: Female (30) - This girl is Claire Redfield's clone. Sharp, organized and motivated, she's the backbone and the ramrod for the convoy. She oversees rationing out supplies. Good with firearms and better at negotiation. Drives the Pickup with Water Tank. 2) Male (37) - School teacher (PE) and not a fighter or hunter, but is okay shot. He's a likable guy, physically fit and works hard to pull his weight. Rides shotgun in Water Truck. 3) Female (53) - Mother of this group and was school bus driver. Now drives the RV. 4) Female (32) - Accountant, non-fighter, that helps keep count of supplies and rationing. She is considered one of the most honest people in the convoy and trusted to ration things fairly to all. 5) Female (27) - Nurse (RN) with most of her experience in a nursing home. Not a fighter, but cool under pressure and physically fit. She is the secondary medic for the convoy and assists the Veterinarian.
"Whiskey" (7 People) Vehicles: Chevy 4x4 Suburban SUV 24' Ryder Rental Truck - Carries the convoy's ammunition & firearm stores and reloading tools. Also carries primary sleeping quarters and personal gear for this group. Motorcycle Descriptions: 1) Leader: Male (40) - Tons of military experience, this guy is your point man and all around best fighter of your convoy. When the chips are down, this is the guy that hauls your ass out of the fire. Lots of tactical and firearm experience with good inventroy of firearms of all types - including some fully automatic! Drives the Ryder Truck or Motorcycle. 2) Female (38) - She's FBI with years of experience in surveillance and law enforcement. Good shot, excellent observer and even better at interviews/interrogations. Drives the Suburban. 3) Female (25) - Hair designer and part-time stunt woman, she's athletic, good at martial arts and an okay shot with pistols only (no experience with rifles). She can drive the truck or Suburban. 4) Female (16) - Tag-a-long that hooked up with this group - reminds you of "K-mart". She's smart enough to not go at it on her own, but doesn't have a lot of skills other than her will to survive. She's cheerful and helps with chores around the camp and sometimes drives the Suburban. Limited experience with firearms, but willing to learn. 5-7) Children: Male (5), Female (13), Male (7)
"Sierra" (8 People) Vehicles: Military 2-1/2 ton "Deuce & a Half" Truck with Camper and Command Trailer - Trailer has army radio equipment and HAM radios. Truck carries two 5 KW Generators as well as sleeping space. Military M816 Heavy Wrecker Truck - Carries mechanic's tools Descriptions: 1) Leader: Male (22) - This guy is a jack of all trades! He's found, fixed and can operation a military radio trailer. He's also rigged a wind powered battery charger for recharging vehicle batteries and keeps your few gasoline generators working. He's good fighter and a good shot. 2) Male (23) - This guy lives in the radio trailer and is the HAM operator. He can rebuild all types of radio equipment. Drives the military truck when not in the radio trailer. Good shot and experienced bar-fighter. 3) Male (51) - Father to this group, he's a good carpenter, experienced hunter and good shot. 4) Male (25) - He's a vehicle mechanic. He fixes most of the issues with the convoy's trucks. Not a good shot, but can hold his own in a bar fight or in melee. Drives the Wrecker Truck. 5) Female (24) - Good cook and general good spirit of this group, she's the one that "mothers" them. Veterinarian experience, not a fighter but a good shot. 6) Female (19) - Great with horses and animals, willing to help out wherever needed and can drive any of the vehicles. Not much of a fighter but can shoot well. Trained Bomb and Explosives Technician 7-8) Children: Male (4), Female (6),
"Kilo" (7 People) Vehicles: Ford Full Size Passenger Van - provides primary sleeping quarters for group. Stake Bed Truck - Used to carry tents for the convoy and general cargo. - Also carries personal gear for this group. Descriptions: 1) Leader: Female (21) - She's the "all go, no quit" survivor type that when you need a "volunteer" to of the dirty work, she's first in line no matter the odds. She has good knowledge of farming and good experience in outdoors and survival, but little skill with firearms. 2) Male (22) - Auto mechanic, but only with cars and light trucks. Not much firearms experience, but good able body person with good attitude and willingness to work. Drives the Ford Van. 3) Female (41) - Mother of this group, good fighter and all around country girl that has grown up on the farm doing things on her own. Has experience with farm equipment, animals and some hunting. She drives the UPS Truck and keeps the shotgun handy. 4) Female (71) - Grandmother of this group, she's the hellcat that started it all. Usually more dangerous as a driver than with the shotgun, she'll jump in the driver seat if necessary, but most of her group would rather she didn't. Spunky, she's in good health for her age and is best cook in the convoy. 5) Male (16) - He's grown up riding horses and caring for them them at a local stable. When it comes to riding, he's a natural. 6-7) Children: Female (13), Female (11)
"Tango" (6 People) Vehicles: Heavy Crew Cab EMS Water Tank - One of 2 trucks that carries the convoy's water supply. - Also carries personal gear for this group. UPS Truck - Carries the majority of the food supplies for the convoy. - Also provides primary sleeping quarters. Descriptions: 1) Leader: Male (32) - Combat veteran, this guy has only been home from deployment for a few months with Z-day broke out. He's experienced in all military small arms and infantry tactics. Drives the Water Truck. 2) Female (26) - Worked as a Telephone installer, she's good with electrical and some mechanical things, but has little experience with firearms. She has tool kit for most light electrical work. 3) Female (17) - Student, non fighter type. Can drive light vehicles only. 4) Male (24) - Was UPS delivery driver and hobby was competition shooting sports. He's good shot, good under pressure and resourceful. Drives the UPS Truck. 5-6) Children: Male (8), Female (9)
