PedroAsani A few points about the Titanium crowbar 0 Jan 9 2009, 8:16 AM EST by PedroAsani

First, go for the 28" one. More heft as a weapon, more reach, and more leverage when you use it as a tool.

Second, the titanium means it will not corrode (think about the life cycle of Class 4, longevity is key there) nor will it spark. This last point may be crucial in the urban environment. In the chaos following a Class 4, many areas could be rendered dangerous due to leaking/broken pipes.

Now if they make the Fubar in Titanium, we have a clear winner.

In your raids or even pick up before hand, get yourself a couple cans of screenduster. yes the can of compressed air. reason being because: if you spray it upside down on a lock, it covers the lock in freeon or some other really cold... thing. you can freeze the lock and then break it off with even greater ease. =]

Now, let's see... prybar...

I assume the prybar to be that long flat piece of metal used to pull out nails and pry things open, correct? well, it's good at what it does, but I do not believe it to be very effective... they are too small and light to do any real damage(maybe for stabbing...)... unless you have a really large one, but they are bulky and difficult to wield.

The crowbar, however, is more or less universally similar in size and weight, differences are usually negligible. The weight allows bone-crushing force, the prongs allow penetration. If you are worried about it getting stuck, there are plenty of different ways to hold it that allows for you to choose between penetration or blunt force.

Hope this helps.
