First off they are in fact dead that come back to kill. However they share similar abilities to the Rage Zombie and the Classic Zombie. I like to think of the DOTD Zombie as a hybrid.

They didnt know for sure how long it took someone to die and reanimate they said that it depends on the person. you can reword it if you would like.
