I have heard many ridiculous tactics, but this is certainly the most interesting one by far!
Firstly;
Why use tennis balls? You would probably survive better with just the baseball bat.
Secondly;
Do you know how precious fuel will be to those taking a convoy aproach? You just suggested squirting it and zombies for satisfaction.

Buddies of mine play fire catch with those things, wearing nomex gloves... lots of drinking that night :) as if thats' a suprise.
