Disabling A Zombie

Diversion Name: The Firework
User: Marsden (Influenced by Romero's "Land of the Dead")

Prerequisites:
The use of the firework tactic is solely used whilst upon the roof of a building and besieged by a small number of infeceted (Typically 1-10 zombies). When you are trapped in your home, you can launch a firework at the zombies to stun, blind, deafen and burn them permitting you to run past them or injure them whilst they are weakened. Effectiveness of this tactic is dubious and this should be used after all else fails.
Danger Level:
[1-10/10] - 8, you are exposing yourself to infected.
Difficulty: [1-10/10] - 7 Anyone who can light and throw a firework can use this. The hard part comes escaping the infected.

Diversion Name:Deli-style zombies

Prerequisites:This technique is to be employed as a means of incapacitating (possibly decapitating) the enemy as it approaches your camp, provided you are in a forest, parking lot, or other area with poles to tie off of, and plenty of time to get it ready.
Danger Level:[1-10/10] - 4, you are nowhere near the target at the time of slicing, the only risk is cutting your fingers when tying the wire. However, this wirewill slice through you if you are dumb enough to forget its location.
Difficulty:[1-10/10] - 1, if you can tie a square knot, or wrap wire in a circle, you're good.
Description:a bunch of tension wires hanging at neck, chest and shin level that will slice through unwary intruders.
Materials:Cheese wire, clay wire, or piano wire, as well as pliers to tie the wires with.
Steps:wrap the wire around a pole, (or tie it with a square knot) thread it to another pole. Repeat for 3 vertical levels.
Notes:The more zeds pressing against the wire, the more ground up zombie you'll have. Remember to remove the dying zombies from the area to prevent the stench.

Diversion Name: The Landmines

Prerequisites: When defending a location or on the run, you should use it. I don't see anywhere you shouldn't use it
Danger Level: 5 (you make no contact with the infected if you are protected, be careful not to stay outside, zombie legs may fly towards you. However, it's not easy to put a landmine and you could blow it up)
Difficulty: 5 (self explanatory, not anyone could do this)
Description: Self explanatory
Materials: Landmines, protection
Steps: Place the mines, go inside and wait a zombie walks over it and blows its legs (and maybe not only its legs)
Notes: If you throw it on top of a zombie mob
, then you may be lucky and blow up some heads

Difficulty: 1 (self explanatory, anyone could do this)
Description: Self explanatory
Materials: Grenades
Steps: Throw the grenade to the middle of a zombie mob (without countdown, zombies won't pick the grenade and throw it back to you) and some legs will be shattered. Oh, and run away as you throw the grenade
Notes: If you throw it on top of a zombie mob
, then you may be lucky and blow up some heads

Diversion Name: The Ditch

Prerequisites: Use only when you have time to do so
Danger Level: 1
(self explanatory, anyone could do this, if with enough time)
Difficulty: Depends on digging skills
Description: Self explanatory
Materials: Shovels, several people, dirt area
Steps: Dig a deep circular ditch , put several people behind it, then make someone attract zombies and go to the people side, while watching zombies falling and/or killing them with spears and spikes
Notes: Make sure you have an escape route planned. If you put a strong wire around the ditch at zombie's leg's height, you will see them amusingly tripping.
If you put a strong wire around the ditch at zombie's head's height, you will see their legs going on while their heads stay in the same place, making them fly (Only works with fast zombies). You can add some cynical fun by adding spikes at the bottom of the ditch

prequisites:when the sh1t hits the fan.
danger level: 10
difficulty: easy if good aim and semi auto gun + one explosive big but light.
steps: when retreating make sure pistol or any one handed semi auto weapon is unholstered and make sure carrying any kind of explosive preferrably a petrol bomb. throw petrol bomb towards horde/ infected and fire straight at explosive and as it blows up keep running and shooting remainders.
notes:do not drop the petrol bomb or miss it as this will f*ck up the plan.

According to max brooks fireworks will not work because zombie's go by smell and sight and hearing things he said flash bangs fireworks .wont work

What situation is this for? Most combative Zombie intrusions
What situation is it NOT for? Hand to hand combat
Danger Level: 10/10 no zomie intrusion will be takin lightly
Difficulty: [1-10/10] - 1
Description: Military SOP for enemy combatant attack
Materials: any weapon with multiple fire settings
Steps: 1- aim for head, fire
2- aim for center mass, Fire twice
Notes: 2 in the chest one in the head, easy to remember
