EOSTRE'S SURVIVAL PLANS

PLAN A: The pre-bug-in bug-out

Plan A is contingent on my identifying non-local zombie activity quickly, and planes not yet being grounded. It is the part of my plans that is least likely to be feasible, but if enacted offers a high survival probability. It simply involves flying to a safer location to dig-in. Upon realizing that the zombie apocalypse has begun, I will grab my BOB and head for the airport. I will head for one of five locations, including location NAV-R.
I will be wearing appropriate, low-key, ZA travel clothes:
Eostre's Travel Outfit

1. Sports bra

2. Coolmax Powerlight Seamless Empire Tech Tank
3. Leather jacket
4. Jeans
5. Coolmax socks
6. Comfortable boots
7. Lightweight gloves
8. Once on the plane , an anti-viral face mask to prevent influenza etc. Nobody wants to fight zombies while sick.

Air travel: ( This is more or less what is in my BOB )
1. My AID kit (see below)
2. Passport
3. Three sets clothing
4. Bottled water
5. My water filtration bottle
6. Water purification tablets

7. Three days food ration
8. Forty carbohydrate gel packs
9. Phone
10. $2,000 cash
11. Sanitizing gel
12. Solar battery charger
13. Identification papers including gun permits
14. Emergency use birth control and Condoms
15. Bolivian Cherry Figurine
16. Tree Tent

17. Compass
18. GPS

******I do not include guns in this list because I want to reduce chances of my bag being interfered with or delayed. I will carry-on as much of the above as is allowed.

I will be heading straight from the airport to my destination. Using the advantages of society until it begins to break down. If at any point in my travel (other than on the plane) I see signs of outbreak, I will immediately leave public areas and head for the closest wilderness.

PLAN B
Plan A cannot be attempted. Planes have been grounded and/or there are zombies in my region of the country.

Bug In:

Try and get my local family to come to the house. Certain members may have to be tied up and forced to remain. Enact home defense sequence.
Eostre's Survival Plans - Zombie Survival & Defense Wiki
1. Close Storm shutters (Rated against CAT 5 hurricane and intruders)Eostre Shutters
2. Spray-paint biohazard symbol on door in bright orange.
3. Place reflective roof sheeting.
4. Fill both bathtubs with water and every available container.

5. Cut escape hole in floor of laundry room.
6. Padlock crawlspace door from inside. (leave key in lock)
Reflective Sheeting
7. Move six month food stores and water to second floor, by attic stairs.
8. Move all furniture to walls, leaving center spaces open.
9. Run attic fan on high 3 hours to completely vent.
10. Set air-conditioner to 60*F let run constantly. Until the Power Goes Out (UPGO)
11. Monitor world situation. UPGO
12. Charge all batteries. UPGO

Depending on the size of the group, I believe we can last quite a while in bug-in phase. We will not use light or make noise at night to avoid attention.

Bug-Out

When things in our region have calmed down a bit and hurricane season is over, we will make our to Cape Hatteras. From there we will take a boat to one of five bug-out locations. I have decided that the risk of an ocean voyage, while incredibly dangerous, poses a lesser threat than traveling by land to any of these locations.

My plan A is, basically "If the ZA happens when I am ready, having constructed my safe haven, and completely stocked it, then..."
Plan C is "If I have a small amount of supplies and all other plans fail, then"
Plans D is "If I am alone with no supplies and no transportation, then..."

So here is Plan B
http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/page/Eostre%27s+Survival+Plans

This is not complete. It's not really even a plan, it's a damn list of supplies and a location. I find, however, that every idea I have for survival is completely invalidated by the fact that it has too many contingencies.

In case you haven't noticed I am having a lot of trouble with this. There are so many things that could go wrong. When the ZA really hits it will probably look like something completely different than all of us have imagined. I'll keep working on Plan A, but tell me what you think about this one.
