"The M1 Carbine is a great firearm the bullet is a 30 caliber round it is a man killing round sure you can hunt with it but it was designed to be a small, light weight paratrooper rifle. Some would argue its crappy and it doesn't penetrate but the soldiers who used it said it was a great weapon. Now the .22 is a great survival gun. it doesn't go bang but it pops so you don't give away your position. Also it penatrates the skulland ricochets around in it but it dosent come out. plus consult the zombie survival guide on this. "

"OK i know most peeps from america have access to some form of gun but i Ireland there is maybe one gun per town (unless in the country) and if its not yours then someone else has it then you have to improvise pleash give some ideas will happily accept constructive criticism"

After you've killed a zombie, don't just drop a one-liner, spit on the corpse and walk off into the sunset. Because think of this: Just because they're zombies doesn't mean they don't have anything useful. When people hear the news that zombies are about, they may decide, "I know! Maybe I will pack useful things in my pocket that could aid in my survival later on!" Or something along those lines. Ten minutes later they die, and a day after that, they die again by your gun. You may find all sorts of survival goodies in the pockets of your zombie victims! Of course, you may not need them if you are properly prepared. And don't rely on searching the pockets of dead zombies to obtain your survival arsenal. But it could prove to be useful!

"no offense torin, but i disagree on needing much training for a tomahawk... i think it acutally takes more training to kill with a knife, because often when you kill with a knife, the enemy bleeds out. a tomahawk can be weilded with sheer brute force as opposed to a knifes finess. if you cut a z's shoulder with a knife, it wont bother him at all, but if you hit it with a tomahawk, you have a good chance of pulverizing the bones or even amputating the limb. i would much prefer a tomahawk to a knife in any blade fighting situations"
