Before AMC released The Walking Dead: Season One TV series, I have read the survival horror fiction graphic novel books:

The Walking Dead
Publisher: Image Comics
Writer: Robert Kirkman
Artists: Tony Moore (Chapter 1) and Charlie Adlard (Chapter 2-12)

The Walking Dead: Book One (Hardcover) (Issue 1-12 or Chapter 1-2 Trade Paperbacks)
Before AMC released cable TV series The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman created and then Image Comics published The Walking Dead that appeared first and began in the late 2003. Sheriff Rick Grimes wakes from coma at hospital. He doesnít know how the zombie apocalypse began. He is seeking his wife Lori and his son Carl. Glenn shows Rick to meet them and the survivors, Shane, Dale, Andrew, and others at camping site. The Walking Dead is the damn good Zombie Apocalypse drama story. It is a continuing story of survival horror. Of course, survival is a key to keep your life in the zombie apocalypse. The Walking Dead have won the Einser Award for the best ongoing comic book series.

The Walking Dead: Book Two (Hardcover) (Issue 13-24 or Chapter 3-4 Trade Paperbacks)
The prison could be the best protection place for zombie survivors. It keeps zombies outside from attacking humans. Most violent prisoners escaped from the prison and the prison guards since zombie apocalypse began, but a few prisoners decided to stay at prison. Humans may be the prisoners of Zombie Apocalypse, right? Michonne is added as a supporting character. She is armed with her katana sword, like a samurai or ninja warriorís. It is the double-handed sword that is used in the ancient Japan and today. It provides the strength and accuracy for perfect decapitation.

Outstanding Site with Short Stories and Poems pertaining to our selected subject. I myself am hoping to have my own story published on it soon. I highly recommend any stories written by Patrick M Tracy.
