If I could make my own zombie fighting team from any fictional characters, I would have the following:
Predator (Predator)= Strong, intellegent, invisibility and great close combat and ranged weapons!
The King of the Dead (Lord of the rings)= Invincible, can walk through walls and has a massive undead army at his command!
Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the hedgehog)= Can teleport, good with guns, super speed and chaos powers!
Wolverine (Marvel)=Adamantium bones, the healing factor might stop infection and adamantium claws!
Also, imagine if Facehuggers from the Alien movies could impregnate zombies! Chestbursters wouldn't kill them when they were born but they might get infected with the virus! That would be cool! Zombie Xenomorphs!!! Talking of the acid blooded monsters, would aliens be able to become zombies since they are born from humans and inherit some human anatomy? And would other humanoid extra-terrestrials be infected?

I think darkness would kick @$$ against zombies dude that guy has little demon buddies that could bite their heads off not just that ,he has these blade tentical things that cut the crap out of stuff, and he can maze weapons out of air.

The best fictional zombie survivors out there are undoubtedly Ben from the 1968 Night of the Living Dead, Vampire Hunter D from the book/movie franchise of the same name, or the cast of Stargate Sg-1. There badass and they live in an underground military bunker with the ability to leave Earth.

VASH THE STAMPEDE!!!!!!!!! KICK ASS!!!! and whoever said miroku from inuyasha, your wrong. im not all that into the show but i saw an episode wen miroku sucked up poison bugs and he got poisoned. if he sucked up zombies he would become one... and i also think that ripley from the alien series would survive... she survived the aliens for 4 whole movies!!! although wen you total it up its only like 8 hours... but still... and rambo...

I'm gonna have to say Mr. Clean. First of all, if it is an infection scenario cleanliness and hygiene will be of the utmost importance and his magical "everything clean now" powers will be terribly useful. And secondly, the guys jacked, he'd have no problem taking a machete to a zombie.
