You have your fortress set up and barricaded. You have quite a bit of time on your hands but the plain gray wall of your hide out is driving you crazy. So what would you add to it to make it not so boring and to make your hide out more fun. Add your name and what you would do, add some pictures if you want. (You can have any supplies redily available and within reason and you can always add more to what you will add later if you think of anything else).

karaz; a zen rock garden/ normal garden, find a ton of paper and make books, then paint it a nice light color.

Quickrace89: Well, I'm guessing that once the zombie threat is gone, humanity will want to rebuild. So I'll be sure to get hold of a lot of books, maybe raid the National Library. I'm considering computer gaming, once I have the petrol generator up.

Damn Karaz, you beat me to the save button. Personally when it dies down, I'd capture zombies and pit them against each other and gamble on the fights. It's not like there'd be PETZ saying you can't do it.-Mr.Xeight

I would build a generator out of a water wheel or bicycle so my boys could stay fit and maybe watch some TV. For those who want to see how to make one, search "keeping fit in the fortress" on this wiki. Then i would promote productive hobbies; like zombie sniping, vegtable gardening, trap building, and other things we would be better off with, but don't immediatly need.

First, I'd establish shifts. While one shift keeps watch, another gets some sleep, and the third gets free time. I'd hang pictures on the wall, photos, set up some board and card games. I would also encourage story telling. I'd also get them to read books or draw. To raise morale, I'd have the watch shift keep an eye out for signs of other human life.

I'd put up pictures of the survivors with me then I would give them a place to write their story. You know how they got here and how they stayed alive. This is just in case we dont make anybody who finds that place will know these people.
