Seeds have varied longevity. it is very important to changes the seeds in your survival pack regularly. We never know when the ZA will happen and you need to be prepared with seeds that will last until you are in a position to plant them.
I cannot stress this enough... Even if you plan to hole up, HAVE A BACKUP PLAN. That includes a survival pack that you can easily grab if your sanctuary becomes compromised.

It doesn't put nutrients back, like all plants it takes them. However it is good at leaching heavy metals and radiation from the ground. Often it will be planted in areas of chemical spills or nuclear sites (but it is a low-THC version, and smoking the Chernobyl weed has killed people)
