I've decided to create an artificial island of sorts in the lake of the small town of Hartwell. The population of the town is quite tiny compared to most of Georgia. I live less than a minute above a commercial marina, where they have exactly 8 docks of houseboats and fishing boats. I plan on taking over the J-Dock (the dock where the boats are actually lived in by their owners) with 6 of my friends and one small child. From there we will load the boats with our weapons, b.o.b.'s, dry rations, and everyday necessities and wait it out. Thankfully the weather in Georgia is very humid, so the decomposition process on the zombies will, "in theory" cause the to rot to pieces quickly. In the meantime, most of the boats that I've been to on this particular docks are stocked with canned goods, as well as everyday needs (soap, medicine, cooking wear, storage containers, etc.) so as previously said, I plan to wait out the biggest part of the infections until the panic dies down and our small town can be scavenged for more supplies or possibly be found by some form of military or government militia.
