Handlers Kits
Eventually and inevitably, some asshole know-it-all doctor with a helicopter and underground laboratory will think they can “cure” skin jobs, with the right number of vivisections (live dissections) and test subjects. In order to protect those of us with a brain, while still facilitating these quacks, here are SOME (not nearly all) of the tools that will be required for SAFE and EFFICIENT transportation and handling of skin jobs.
| Ball Gag | Anti-Spitting Hood |
| WARNING: A ball gag will cause salivation (which has not been proven conclusively to not carry the disease), and in great quantities, and therefore should be used in conjunction with an anti-spitting hood (right). | |

| Basic Restraint Kit | |
| For use with compliant skin jobs, the Basic Restraint Kit consists of a waist restraint (wide belt with the buckle in the rear), wrist restraints (handcuffs), and ankle restraints. The ankle restraints are connected to the waist restraint by a chain on a clasp; If the skin job starts to get violent or attempts to escape, it can be brought to the ground and hog tied by bringing the clasp through the ring, then back up to the belt buckle (in the rear). Note th The ankle restraints also have a cross-clasp, allowing the ankles to be hooked together to hobble the subject if they’re misbehaved. Metal Ankle Brackets are preferable, but may not necessarily be available; In such cases, the subject should be observed carefully and continuously. | |
| Gurney | Stretcher |
| Gurneys are idea for the transportation of combative skin jobs; After bagging them up, throw them on the gurney and roll them out. A chest, waist, and leg restraint will still be needed for proper control, but this will allow you to easily move them, at no risk to yourself. | A stretcher is a sim A stretcher can be improvised from two long-sleeve shirts with poles through the sleeves (be sure to button it up before use), or by using a cot (simply load the victim or subject onto the cot, then pick up both ends). Whereas a gurney will serve you well in rear areas (even near-front, once you’re in a secured area, such as a secured former office building), a stretcher is generally the best way to go when you’ve first captured your skin job; Although you will still have to wear your protective suit and related materials, you should be able to strap them down, to some degree, to the stretcher long enough to carry them (against their will) to your forward base (aforementioned former office building) and properly restrain them. (Most stretchers can be placed directly onto gurneys, eliminating the dangers related with having to release the skin job.) |
| M-26 Taser Electroshock Weapon | GUNS. |
| Taser Tasers are not dependent on pain compliance making it highly effective on subjects with high pain tolerance. For this reason it is preferred by law enforcement over traditional stun guns and other electronic control weapons. Both come with various accessories, including a laser sight and mounted digital video camera that can record in low-light situations. In the example shown here, the M-26 is mounted under an AR-15/M-16 barrel; However, by using medical-style pads, the taser can be permanently attached to the skin job, or mounted in the collar, for better control, while the control unit is rigged to a control rod. | When it See BALLISTICS PAGE more more information on available weaps. |
| Control Collar | Control Collar (images) |
| Control Rigs, as their name implies, are for moving skin jobs from Point “A” to Point “B” safely. Ideally, twin control poles are connected to a collar. In this example, a leash device is also attached, presumably for shackling the skin job to a wall or stanchion of some sort. Note the Crucifix on this collar; In reality, you will probably have a dogtag, with test subject number, in it’s place. (This example, however, was created for a specific individual, a village member who got infected; Before she was overwhelmed by the disease, she requested to be saved for science, rather than killed outright.) | |

As you stated in your article above, the ball gag is going to cause a great amount of saliva to pour forth. What about cutting out the tongue of the subject and burning the salvitory glands? Would this essentially stop a majority of the salvitation and prove to be a more sanitary and safer enviroment when working on a cure/weapon?

Any Ideas for additions to this? Post them there.
Heavey strength latex gloves: Latex is a must for anyone planning to go poking around inside someone else (heh). Allows you to go prodding about with your hands, without worring about liquids. Blood Stained Labcoat: Come on.. EVERY Zombie Scientist (whether a zombie of not :P) NEEDS a blood stained labcoat. Hey, you can wear a clean one... but its not gonna stay clean for long. Loaded Gun: Just incase things get hairy. |
