Hellcat .380. From gunblast.comModel: Hellcat .380
The Hellcat is a .380 ACP pocket pistol produced by I.O. Industries of Monroe, North Carolina. It's designed as a very compact semi-automatic firearm for concealed carry. The Hellcat is a true "pocket pistol" that can be carried in a pants or jacket pocket thanks to its very small size. The pistol is machined with a solid steel, heat-treated slide and solid aluminum frame to ensure light weight and durability.

With no manual safety or slide stop, the Hellcat is one of the simplest semi-automatic weapons available on the market. The gun is double-action only with no second strike (meaning that in case of a misfire, the slide must be pulled back slightly to prepare the gun for firing again rather than simply pulling the trigger).

Where to find

The Hellcat is very common in gun stores for self-defense with a reasonable price of less than $250, making it very easy to get. It's popular as a concealed carry weapon for the small size and very light weight.

Complexity

Being a pocket pistol, the Hellcat is unsuited for any combat outside of self-defense ranges. In this role, it's an admirable weapon: accurate enough for consistent hits on target while also being extremely reliable and simple to operate. The only control on the entire weapon is the magazine release, making it arguably one of the simplest semi-automatics of the modern day; even an inexperienced shooter can be taught to use the gun within a few minutes in a high-stress situation.
