solanum isnt a real virus, its from a book a comedian wrote to make people believe there could be a zombie outbreak...no such thing. But there are other possibilities of a zombie outbreak occuring, but you can really cross that one off.

Some of the Zombie Creation Theories are really iff-y, even for zombies. A bacterium is VERY unlikely, especially so, considering that a bacteria would have to have it significant mass to affect the brain to that degree; a virus alter's the host's pre-existing cells to create more virus cells, a bacteria would develop it's own mass, as opposed to replacing normal brain cells; so at first it'd act more like a tumor.
"Chemical agents" and "Drugs" are the same thing. Diet pills seem pretty unlikely as well, just because not only do they generally not affect the brain like that, but many diet pills are just placebo's. Creating zombies using magic is technically called necromancing, and would create a whole new slew of possibilities. Like inhuman strength that shouldn't be possible, even for something that doesn't feel pain. BTW, if I remember correctly, in World War Z, a person that just breaks down mentally and begins to think their a zombie is called a "quisling." |

I've always told my friends about this. We humans work alot on trying to stop again and beating death. I truly think that something will go wrong (or right if the scientist has sinister plans) while trying to make a simple cosmetic/ age reducing cure. It might mean that women who are obsessed with that kind of stuff would be first to turn and then it could possibly "knock them out" where they go into a state of actually being dead. Soon they would re-animate and attack their family. Then this could spread as they leave the house oddly and when neighbors come to see what's wrong, they git bit and soon it's everywhere. Please share your two cents on this theory
