In the year 2010 C.E, the world is at a new breaking point. Countries build nuclear arsenals in hopes to protect themselves, relations with other countries are strained, and a new threat is looming.

Part 1: Project New Dawn

In 2022 C.E, the United States government issued order 179-Z, the creation of a devastating bio weapon. The President at this time, Randall Collins, had also ordered a meeting to organize the process. The lead scientist put in charge of the project was PhD Charles Michelson, a renowned scientist in the field of Genetics. Funding for the project required public and private funds to equate to approximately $700 Billion USD. The meeting also addressed the location of the laboratories. One was located 80 Miles off the coast of Oahu, one in the International Space Station, one in a military base known as Area 51, and the final one was placed in Antarctica. Order 179-Z was given a codename, Project New Dawn. The project would take about 10 years to complete. The project would study many diseases, viral strains, animals, and genetically engineer them into a super weapon. The result came in 2035 C.E, 3 years off target. The new bio weapon was a mixture of rabies, E. coli, viruses, and other unknown items. The scientist called the mixture the Rage Virus due to the animals being filled with anger and violence. One other side effect of the virus was skin degeneration, a trait that proved to be terrifying to many. With the new weapon in hand, the new President Alan Mendev ordered the weapon to be housed in the vault safe, known as Containment unit 13, under Area 51 until further notice.

Part 2: Coup d' ete

In 2036 C.E, a riots were breaking all over the country. The riots were over many things such as war, new laws, taxes, etc. Eventually President Alan Mendev ordered the use of the the Rage virus on multiple major cities including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, and Seattle. He wanted to make an example of those people in order to keep the peace. When the strain hit all of the listed cities at 12:00 PM EST, the rioters went unconscious. Hours later the infected rioters went insane and ballistic. Stores where sacked, people trampled, and property damaged. News got out about the attack and people started to gather. At 18:00 PM EST, masses of people approached the Capitol, Pentagon, and the White house. They rushed in and destroyed Washington D.C within hours. Only ruins were left. The President Alan Mendev was publicly executed along with the other politicians and heads of state. The United States was in a state of pure chaos. People fled the country, bringing the disease with them. The Rage virus was spreading across the world. Slowly but surely.
