Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!
How will we rebuild the world
In a world where you could be eaten anytime, how would we get back to the age we used to live in?
C_O - Save all the pretty girls and after it all is finished we'll make them pregnant!
Taylor100550(dragon66) - I will go to a book store and take many history book and how to build it books.
Original-Sin - I don't think the world will ever fully restore itself, even after all the zombies are dead (again). I think the world will lie in ruins with a few human outposts struggling for survival, think of the movie waterworld, minus all the water...
starwars_zombie: I would create a little village and some type of government and start to build houses(they would be crappy houses if I build them) in the village, build up some sort of military or protection team. I would welcome uninfected people into my village and I would make sure each house has at least 1 weapon inside it just in case zombies attack, and build a wall or barricades around my village. And then i would make a medical team,a food and supply hunting team. I would then build few tall sniper towers around the city, i would make a construction team and after about ten years or more my village will turn into a town, a city, a state or province and hopefully a country. If we run into any other camps or villages we will probably ask them to join us.
Thrawn5: I would personally make a large barricade around a large plot of land (the barricade would be about 15 feet high of 2ft think concrete, I will do that for as big a piece of land as I can). This barricade will keep zeds out (unless they start piling on each other) for the most part. I will then start building a second set of walls around the center of the large "people pen", then build the civilization in those inner walls. At first my outpost will probably be like a dictatorship (not for long, that would be a good way to get myself shot), then as the town starts to get more people I'll try to shift the government towards a people-run government.
The large amount of land that is outside the city walls will be used as cropland and other basic stuff.
this is just one city, hopefully we will be able to hook up with other cities eventually (without conflict).
KaikelX: I think that the world will eventually rebuild, but there would always be a sense of always being ready. People with rare skills such as advanced medical techniques, engineers, designers, or other specialists would be highly coveted during the reconstruction period.
Renegade13: What I would do is eventually take the world back. Around my fortress take back land piece by piece and grow larger as more survivors and supplies come in.
Renigade16: I would attempt to rebuild the US of A. And fight to take back all of america and then eventaly the world. My base would be Hawaii(Pear Harbor, do I have to say any more ;)First major place we take back califonia. P.S. Hey the guy above me has a kickass name lol.
vanrulzz: Layers of barricades. Create one, and as your town needs to expand build around your first arricade, and keep expanding. at the very least you have a nice multi-tiered defense system for when all helk breaks loose (again)
The mad badger: Much respect to starwars zombie!!! That is exactly what i would do! You, sir, are a visionary! When the baloon goes up, i hope to be in your area.

I'd scour the world for survivors that can help rebuild Human Civilisation
Defend them from any Stubborns (hey, even Zombies can carry personality traits of a person if they're strong enough, the traits, that is)
Let them rebuild to a point where they don't need my help anymore, then move on.
(If anyone wants to do this, then I'm thinking of calling ourselves "Red Knights", well, at least me)
Richboy23mj-First, try to make a good settlement. Respond to all radio broadcasts. Stock up on necessary things for survival. Kill each and every zombie you encounter. Pick up every person you see and check them for bites.
karaz: depending on witch plan i carry out i will eather have a roaming band of knight like figures or a type of city

I agree with Thrawn5 but I would not only look for a large plot of land but I will take into account the area and such. Does it flood much? Does it drought? Natural Disasters, Easily Escapable, Hard for the Z's to reach (Up a hill), Farming ability, Avg Temperature. Those kinds of things. Then I will construct a barricade. I do not believe I will be able to find enough concrete for my 100+ acre land. Maybe a lot of trees and build a wooden fence that high and thick. I will build houses on the walls. That way we will always be ready and on the watch and if the walla are breached my Colony will be safe. The government will be easy. We will have elections on the people to do what (I'm assuming that the people in my new colony will know each othr pretty well by now) and we will decide that way. At first though we will be planting, defending and building until we believe we are protected.
This is not my plan but in the event HU loses this is what I will likely do.

If we actually face a Stage 4+ Outbreak, and the world is completely overrun by the undead, I believe there will be some sort of remaining government structure. I'm entirely sure that some form of the United States government structure, and the European Union will remain intact to piece together the remnant pieces of society. And though, I do believe that over the years, even though the buildings will have mostly degraded to crumbling shells of their former selves, there will be enough of a structure left to building back a working government that can maintain peace. We will, indeed, have to weed out all of the rebels who believe they will do a better governing job by themselves. But I believe that in fifty, or sixty years afterwords, maybe less, we will return to normal.
Oligocene: In the worst case scenario, where 99,9 percent of human population dies, there would still be 6 million of us on Earth, more than average of this sized mammals in nature. If the basic knowledge of steam power and industrialism can be teached to the next generation, it would take maybe a millenium to gain the population numbers of today´s society. If we get lucky and the amount of survivors is still close to 20%, it is possible that the society structures don´t fall apart and the humanity´s progress can continue almost undisturbed, it would take only one generation to rebuild and regain the advancement of our species.
I was thinking that the totalitarian societies could become major world powers in Z world. These countries are already isolated, making countries like North Korea, Cuba or Myanmar possibly unharmed to the zombie invasion. Otherwise countries that success to remain strong military force can prevent the anarchy (I think US, for example, wouldn´t fall apart if the number of casualties doesn´t exceed 90%).
Tacticalplanner: Well, the first pirority would be to resecure all the things we had (Fresh food, refridgeration, electricity, SHOWERS, running water, etc.). This is assuming my villag has a 3ft thick 15ft high concrete wall. My goal to acomplish this would be renewable sources of electricity, Concrete walls extending along the rail lines to prevent zees from coming in (the rail lines would lead to mines, rural areas, your mom's survivor group, the kitchen sink shop, etc.), and reopening mines and such.
Phase 2: The groups dedicated to scavenging will raid the major universities for the textbooks regarding engineering, vehiclular engineering, medicine, all other high skill jobs that require college. The books would be used to re-open the education system (important). The payment would be service in the Reconstuction branch of the Army (that i will head)
Phase 3: Install a republic based on the foundations that popuar vote is most valuable. Each sction of the village will have a representative. A senate may be created if population becomes unbalancensed. A president will exist (not me, i hate politics) with an elected cabinet covering food, water, military, reconstruction, supplies,, and others as needed. this way the people have their own say in what happens in the colony.
Phase 4: rescue survivors and build the city outward, wall ring by wall ring. (Like Ba Sing Se in that Avatar Cartoon on Nickelodeon).
Phase 5: Establish a currency system.
Phase 6: prepare a force to retake the continent of North America, then the world.
AgEnT_GrEEn:
We'd capture towns surrounding our survivor colony, fortify and garrison them, and expand that way....I'm thinking business with this...A restaurant only expands when the demand for the service and food warrant such expansion....When we've garrisoned and fortified a town to its most feasible potential, then we'd expand onward as we'd offer fortification and training to nearby towns in exchange for a small fee of food, ammunition, and a couple able-bodied people to bolster our forces and supplies...If these towns refuse, then so be it....At least Lapeer will be saved and re-built during the Zedpocalypse..

lord awesome: id start a merchant city where we would sell weapons, armor, vehicles, ammo, gas, food, water, etc. the city itself would contain the residental area merchant quarter a dock(its on a island) and another dock on the mainland. the security would include armed guards with full riot gear gear fully automatic ak47 with armor peircing rounds, a 45 foot stone wall with a double portuculliss places for snipers and guards, also patrol boats, and finally a security line at the mainland docks where visitors handover weapons and armor and are checked for bites.for more lookup my profile

I will probably go find a field build a huge house [terrible but BIG], then go find survivors, take them back to my 1 big house and then build them houses, build new government and military force, then we will take back the land that was the USA, and last will make a new country and call it the Z-Day Veteran Survivor Settlement.
Do you find this valuable?
