i would get a 4x4,and put a machine gun in the back,and then i would get reinforced bulletproof glass,and put a hole in it for the machine gun barrel to point out of.the hole would be shaped like this ________ through the middle of the glass,so you could turn it round.i would replace this with the window in the back.then,underneath the firing slit,i would put some metal to strenghen it.i would do the same with the passenger seat.

another idea i have,is if somehow i managed to get ahold of a civillian(unarmed) helicopter,prefably a bell 204/205,i would put a MG in the backdoor(where people sit when riding)next i would put a door to the pilot seat,so if anyone aboard was infected and turned mid-flight,the pilot would be protected from them.i would also put a small weapons rack inside it with weapons and ammo storage.i would also make a pipe into the helicopter from the fuel tank,so it could be fuelled while still in the air,should anyone have a gas can.finally,i would reinforce it with scrap metal and,if possible replace the windshield with bulletproof/reinforced glass

just an idea but if you are set up in a town with a train station trains could be used as a scouting vehicle because of the high platform or used as a mobile outpost if fortified enough
