If there was to be a zombie attack and you happent o be in the house you are probably in one of the safest places ever.
You are in a comfortable dweling with (any luck) locks. Here are the pluses.

1. You can lock the doors.
2. fresh air? You do have windows.
3. food stoed in cupboards.
4. Clothing.
5. knifes.
6. garage tools.
7. usefull equipment you can fashion out of items.
8. comfortable.
9. wires, computers, anything tecnological can be used.
10. Upstairs or attics (if your lucky)

If you have a four bedroom house, dining room, kitchen, attic, upstairs, garage then your in luck. If there is a zombie invasion do this:
1. knock off all the door handles on the outside bar one so you can get back in. Zombies can't open doors anyway but this improves your chances of them not being able to do so and you won't have any mad men/women trying to get in.
2. Get inside and lock all the doors from the inside.
3. Lock the windows.
4. Get upstairs and open your attic, throw out anything up there you wont need in one of the bedrooms or rooms you have.
5. Put some blankets, duvets, pillows and blow up beds if you have them up there so you can be comfortable.
6. Use some boxes and put some usefull items up there, such as string, glue gun, hammer, nail gun and any other garage tools you can.
7. Take up some foods that will be ok away from the fridge or freezer (bear in mind that elextricity will be there for some time before going off but try and find your own way of generating electricity so you can get in touch with family or people over seas on the internet.)
8. If you can take up a laptop, phone or a computer, if not make sure you have one in the house somewhere.
10. Make sure you also have a ladder so you can get in and out of the attic quickly and pull it up so zombies can't reach you.
11. Have access to clothing.
12. Make sure you have bottled water, big, small or medium and make sure you have someway of cleaning river water if you run out. You might want to get you jug and fill soemthing like ur bath with water from your downstairs tap so then it is clean. I suggest you still clean it anyway.
13. with sofas block doorways, you can jump and climb, zombies cannot.
14. Have some means of transport.
15. Have a weapon/s, knifes are good to throw but aim for the head. Golf clubs work well too. If you can get a gun, get one.
16. If case of extreme circumstances break the stairs. Zombies cannot climb nor can they swim. (if you live on an oil rig your sorted )
