We all like to think that we will be at home with all our possessions at our fingertips.. but i know on z day i wont be so lucky.. so i've always kept my truck a rolling BOB.. i have a baseball bat and a 81/2" ka-bar knife, an extensive first aid kit, a bag of extra clothes, boots, and a case of water bottles, work supplies from my job including gloves, shovel, and various sheers. now i know thats not everything i'd like to have, but i cant legally carry a sidearm in the truck... yet... but i'd like to think that if i was away from home on z day.. this would get me back there. and if home was somehow unreachable or burnt down or something it would give me a fair headstart..

I have fiercely looked over Ironhand's example of a bug out bag. I find it quite appropriate and decent.
However, we can't always have our bug out bag with us. We can't always be at home with our guns. This thought came to me after gashing my arm on something(don't worry, got my shots lol) I improvised with a ghetto bandage(germ x, tissues, a rag to hold the bandage on my arm) I want to make a small kit, which can be applied to either school or work. IT isn't so much a bug out minikit, as it is a daily kit for this and that. I could go around on the web searching, but I would hope that, after enough ideas are put together, I can write a small article on the mini kit. Of course, bandages would be a yes, and a small bottle of hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol. But my mind aint workin today, can you guys name out some things that'll make a small kit(think a small bag or pouch that is 6x6x1.5/2 inches maximum).

I like your bug out bag a lot,but I was meerley suggesting that you scrap some of the fishing gear(waterways might be infected, but still a good food source) and maybe take a shorter barreled rifle like the Kel-Tec RFB or even a baisc Mini-14.

is there somewhere on this site that lists the weight of things that way we can put together a BOB here befor we spend the money only to find out it weights too much for us too carry. all id need to do it is a small scale but im not spending 30$ on one myself to do it, but i would make the list if i had one.

YOU are prepared. I am certainly not. I'll strive to make my B.O.B one-fourth the awesomeness of yours. Good luck and keep up the good work!
