Issues of the Week
We tackle a lot of tough problems on this wiki. Here are some of the issues we've worked on:
- Looking for the first signs of a outbreak - If you want to live you need to keep a eye out.
- Evaluating Fellow Survivors - think zombies are the only thing you have to worry about? Think again. How will you decide who to trust in a Z world?
- Surviving Non-fatal Injuries - so someone in your group is hurt. How will you cope?
- Why are we so fascinated by Zombies? - if you've got a survival plan on this site, chime in!
- Drowning out the Howling Hordes - it's gonna be a long night. How are you going to keep your mind as the undead drone on?
- Zombie Nightmares - you know you've had one of these!
- Dealing with a Zombie Mob - you're surrounded. Now what?
- What to look for in a Group - don't assume librarians make the best survivors!
- Personal Zombie Survival Kit - the Bug Out Bag! The one you grab on the way out the door. Don't have one? Time to put some thought into that!
- Think just cause you haven't been bitten you're "ok?" Think about the stress and psychological impact of living in a Z world!
- What to do if your fortress is overrun? You're gonna need a Plan B!
- What date was the world supposed to end on again? Post your rumors about the end of the world. Try to keep it light-hearted people....
- what will you do when the lights go out? I want to know how you are going to power all of these great ideas!
- Do you have knowledge or skills in certain areas that may be of use after Z-Day? What Makes you an expert?
- How would you survive the day of the dead (remake) kind of zombies? Tell use your plan for these type of zombies.
- Tell use your survival plan for Cell.

Not sure when the big Change in dogs began to happen.
Living deep in Eastern Oregon's desert farmland, the Outbreaks didn't seem to be real, nor any bother to we out here. Folks did panic and in turn try to "run to the country", many of the western Oregon towns and metro areas were quickly taken, their populations made into the Undead. A few of we those with larger trucks, iron, skills with welding and fabrication soon made our Long Range Expedition and Recovery sleds meant just for finding our way through wreckages and the messes left. Ammunition, medications, assorted foods, and surprisingly enough dozens of canines. Chemicals for our farming, living and eating were especially needed, greatly prized. One our first run into Gresham, eastern side of Portland, we came across a small warehouse filled with cleaning chemicals. Not many were "exactly" needed, but our resident basement bomber was ble to say which would be of good use. Inside the warehouse office there was an emaciated poorly kept sable G. Shep dog. Suspect he was 120 pounds or so while he was healthy. He was alive, barely. Out on the Farm, we had a collection of many dogs, however "mutts" they were were breeding carefully, we looked for alertness and a strong prey drive. Not many filled our needs. "Portland" runs became a looking for former pets and critters that could be used for our lives out East. Big hounds caught our attention. Not many of the Undead could walk away from a Shep or Rottie properly protected from bite. As our supplies dwindled, entering deeper into infected territory we went. Soon trips to Spokane, Boise, and even Seattle were happening. Our large dogs were a help, however feeding them, keeping them healthy became a serious problem. Sooner those with congenital problems, hips, hearts, eyes were causing more time caring for them.

Do you go with a large group of people, (100s) or a small group, (20ish)?
Large group - More people to help defend, but lots more to feed Small group - Less people to help defend, but supplies last longer WHAT WOULD YOU DO?!

like many readers before me, i was hooked on the first few sentances, and love the book the zombie survival guide.
oaky the fact of how to excape, evade and survive have already been determined. I was like many people, wondering... when>? I have been looking at historical documents and markings for signs of this question. the aztec and achent chinese calender could describe when a seirous class 4 outbreak ends with the distruction of human-kind. If true that means a small outbreak will go un-contained very soon. Heres the clipping- In the mythology of the Aztecs, the first age of mankind ended with the animals devouring humans. The second age was finished by wind, the third by fire, and the fourth by water. The present fifth epoch is called Nahui-Olin (Sun of Earthquake), which began in 3113 BC and will end on December 24, 2011. It will be the last destruction of human existence on Earth. The date coincides closely with that determined by the brothers McKenna in The Invisible Landscape as “the end of history” indicated by their computer analysis of the ancient Chinese oracle-calendar, the I Ching. so if i right its gunna happen within a year or so.

sorry for being a noob, but I have been on this site 2.5 weeks or so and the Issues of the "Week" have not changed. Is this intentional, or just lazyness? I can update for issues every week if nobody else is doing it.
