My Bag - It's an Australian Army patrol bag. At least that's what it said at the surplus store. They are kind of loose in their "definitions" so it could be something else altogether. Basically it's a little smaller than a medium sized ALICE pack in the main compartment. I prefer external framed bags but for the price, with almost every feature I wanted in a bag, this was to good to pass up.
It has three good sized outer pockets, wide straps that are actually very comfy, and it's made of the super thick canvas that lasts forever. It also has a simple waist strap and a pocket on the lid. Sweet!

Attached to the bag
- 3/8" Static line. If you don't know what that means, don't worry about it. I think it's 120' but I'm not positive. Been awhile.
- Kong carabiner. Rated at 26kn (Same as before, if you don't know what it is don't worry about it.)
- Brunton Classic compass (it's on the outside so I can remove it and toss it into my pocket immediately after grabbing this bag)
- My mini first aid kit. It's stored in a personal decon box.

Ten round mag. I keep mine loaded with Magtech FMJ 230 grain bullets. Feeds better than JHP.
