.40 Baby Desert Eagle (Jericho)Model: Jericho 941
Nicknamed the "Baby Eagle" as part of a marketing ploy -- capitalizing on the vague similarity to the Desert Eagle -- the IWI Jericho 941 is a recent pistol model based on the CZ 75 handgun series. This Israeli handgun is increasing in popularity and is commonly imported into the United States. The Jericho 941 was also used as a platform to market their new .41 Action Express round, intended to be a magnum-level pistol round. However, the .41 AE failed to gain traction in the market even worse than the somewhat similar 10mm Auto round due to the introduction of the American .40 S&W cartridge almost immediately afterward and has been discontinued. The Jericho can instead be commonly found in a variety of popular calibers.

The 941 can also be purchased in compact and subcompact variants, much like the Glock series, and can have a polymer or steel frame. The FORT 21 is a Ukrainian copy and the Pistol Model 2000 is a Romanian copy.

Complexity

The Jericho 941 is a combat pistol, making it very reliable under combat conditions. It's know for having a very slim design for a double-stack pistol and polygonal rifling on many models, giving it a slightly higher velocity than comparable handguns.
