My Plan
First of all, I have plentiful weapons at my fingertips that I can use, so I am not worried about self- defense. Food and water would consist of whatever we can throw into the car and loot from stores on our way to our destination. I have two different plans. Before I explain both of my plans, the first days of the outbreak will be when i'm hiding in my house. This is of course, if the infection spreads rapidly and there is no forewarning. I will go to my garage and get my fireaxe, pickaxe, hatchet, and my sledgehammer. Back in my house i'll get my 30/30 rifle, my 20 gauge, .22 rifle, semi- auto .22, 12 gauge, 9 mm, machete, and two compound bows with about 20 deer hunting tipped arrows. My family and I will begin using spare wood and thick sticks we use for firewood and nail them over our windows or wherever they are needed. We will move our large furniture (couches, desks, chairs, tables, etc.) in front of the doors and if needed windows as well. I will hide in my home with my family until it is safe to pack up SUV with all our supplies and leave. ONE: At first my family will most likely travel to my cousins house in bucks county, PA. they have many things on their property to barricade the house. They have plastic fencing on their porch that could be chopped up, chainlink fence that was used for chickens, furniture inside, etc. There is a gun shop down the road that we could go to and get more guns and ammo. Food will be our main problem but there is a Walgreens and Giant within driving distance of us. TWO: This would be for either emergency or plenty of supplies. I will travel to my mountain cabin in Wharton County, PA. It's in the middle of no where in the never ending mountains of western PA, so i think i would be safe for a long time out there. Only problem is that there is nothing around, so what I have is what i've brought up with me.
