I found this product searching through various websites looking for some accessories for my FNP-9. I bought the usual laser sights, flashlights, holsters, etc... but then I came across this little treasure. If you have read any of my posts, profile, reviews, or survival plans, you'll know that I love blades. I'm quite partial to the Katana/Wakizashi. Just as much as I like my Kats and Waks, I love my guns too. This bayonet combines what I love about both.
Here it is, on a stock picture I found on the web and a description from where I purchased mine,
www.trueswords.com.

Needless to say, I was sold. The reason I wanted to try this product out so much is because one of my all time favorite movie Trilogies (although I'm not sure if it really is a Trilogy) is the Blade series. I especially like the second and the first. The connection with this bayonet and the movie Blade II is that Reinhardt, a member of the Bloodpack, carries a Beretta 92FS with heavy customization. The most apparent being a huge blade under neath the barrel. Now, this bayonet doesn't look like the one in the movie but it would certainly serve the same purposes. If the enemy gets too close, or you run out of bullets, you can slice your way to safety. To the right, you can see the gun that they used for the movie up close in all its glory.
Below, you can see Reinhardt pointing the gun with laser sights in Blades direction

Like I said before, it's not a match, but it's close enough for me. I was a little concerned about how it fit exactly on to any gun. It seems like it's a one size fits all kind of deal and I actually emailed TS.com about it's sizing information. They said that after researching, they concluded it would fit on my FNP-9 as well as most all other medium to large size semi automatic handguns with accessory rails.
Trusting their input, I decided to purchase it finally.
Here is a video of this product. Another concern I had was that I wasn't sure it would stay put while I shot it. After reviewing this video review, I'm confident I won't have that problem with it. The only problem I can see having with it is a holster. It is going to either take a custom made holster or none at all. Which is fine. I am pretty sure this is more of a novelty accessory anyway. I will be using it, when the zeds come, and in the mean time, I will be finding a good way to transport it on me.

In the end, I can definitely find a use for this thing.
Your dealing with a mob of Zombies after raiding a small convenience store for food and supplies. You were dropped off and were set to be picked up, if only you knew that a horde of Zeds were next door, out of sight, feeding on a house full of survivors. You see the mod and head to the back, a little alley. At first you can hold them off until your shotgun runs out. All you have is a 9mm in each hand because you left your melee weapons behind this time. Shot after shot, you know your teammate is going to be driving by to pick you up in just a few minutes. In your left hand, after a head shot, the slide stays back letting you know you're empty which means you're probably low in your right hand. Out of the corner of your eye, you see the car that will be picking you up barreling down the side street with an empty passenger seat. "Click" you're out and you still have a few seconds before you can jump in the car. You kick one back with your boot and thrust with your pistol as hard as you can into the head of the enemy. With the bayonet on the end, it's an immediate kill. You pull it out. The car is almost in place. An uppercut to another head. Pull it out. Another kill. You jump in the car and you're finally safe.
I give this item

because it's a novelty item at best. However, there are more uses for it than the obvious one. It's a great little knife that's small enough to be carried around in your pocket or bag. However, I wouldn't even think about bringing it out unless I didn't have a laser and had plenty of time to attach it before I had to shoot. However, I WOULD definitely bring it out, if I did have the time. I don't see how it could hurt you.
