Admit it. Your favorite part of the site is the gear, but you don't always want to show it off and be the only one to do it. That changes a little. Post a picture of your loadout and a short description. Try to refrain from posting the contents of your entire bug out bag, or any absurdly complex kit.

[toxic_shock] [Standard Loadout]
Ready to goPurpose: Primarily scavenging or scouting.
Overall Weight: Christ, I don’t know. Guessing 10 pounds for everything on the web harness.

Mobility: Medium
Clothing: Dickies workpants, collared shirt.
Weapons: Taurus 1911 and 2x 10-round mags in shoulder holster. Taurus 608 .357 in dropleg holster on right thigh. Bastardized SKS OR Mossberg 500 JIC can be carried as primay, depending on situation.

Web Gear: Bulgarian web harness ($8 from CTD). Left side: 18” Ontario Machete. Utility pouch containing 1x 50 round box of .357 Mag JHP, 1x 50 round box of .45 ACP JHP, 4 jerky sticks, 1 bottle of water, compass, ear plugs and survival manual.
Right side: Mag pouch containing 2x 20-round SKS mags (or loose 12 gauge buckshot rounds) and 1x 8-round speedloader. Ontario fighting knife. LED flashlight clipped to left shoulder strap. Pants pockets contain wallet, 3” Gerber, Zippo, loose .357 rounds and 1x 8-round 1911 mag.

Pack: E. German Daypack. ($4 from CTD). Since this is a scavenging load-out, its empty. The daypack serves double-duty as a pouch clipped to my bug-out bag.
Tango DownFootwear and Gloves: Diehard boots, mechanic’s gloves.
Protective Gear: Oakleys. Optional leather coat (not pictured).
Special Gear: Wristwatch, I guess.

Description / Notes: If you replace the daypack with my bug-out bag, this is probably what I will be wearing if I have to bug out. If for some reason I have to drop my bug-out bag, I have included bare minimum gear in the utility pouch. Ideally, either the Mossberg 500 or SKS will be in a nearby vehicle, while I carry the other.

PS - forgive the mall ninja pics!
