M320 grenade launcherModel: M320 Grenade Launching Module
The M320 is a new grenade launcher based on the German AG36 meant to replace the M203 in service in the United States Military. Like the M203 the M320 can be used as a stand-alone weapon, though it contains far more than a barrel and trigger and can be used directly off the rifle with no modifications if need be (though adding a stock and sight are generally considered smart before firing it). The M320 includes an ambidextrous thumb safety and is double-action rather than single action, allowing for a misfire to be cleared simply by pulling the trigger. Unlike the M203, which has a sliding barrel to expose the breech, the M320's breech swings out to the left side to allow for longer rounds to be chambered.

Where to find

The M320 is rare on the civilian market, requiring a $200 tax stamp from the BATFE and a lengthy registration process due to it's status as a destructive device, and has only recently come into use with US military, making acquisition unlikely post-apocalypse.

Complexity

The M320 is more complex than the M203 (which was little more than a tube and a lever), though still not head-spinningly complicated to operate. One thing to note is that mounting it requires the removal of the rifle's lower handguard, whereas many modern M203 models mount onto Picatinny rails. The Day-Night Sight is the most complicated part of the weapon.
