As any of you who’ve been aboard a ship should know, when you flush the toilet on a ship, the bowl is filled with a grey0ish, nasty looking water that vaguely looks like someone took a shit, siphoned off the solids, and then poured it back into the toilet.
What you’re actually seeing is called Grey Water. As you wash, shower, prepare food, etc, the water poured down the drain is collected in a tank called the “Grey Water Tank.” It’s a nasty brew of water, cleaning agents, some dirt, etc. Not potable, of course, but certainly not sewage. This is used to flush the toilet; An educator (a ball with two water lines, on smaller that the water comes in through, the other larger that the water goes out by) sucks the sewage (even solids) out of the bowl, then allows a small amount to fill the bottom of the bowl (about a half-inch, just enough to prevent the methane from coming back in). I submit, with or without the educator, that Grey Water can similarly be re-used for toilets after AND BEFORE the rise of the skin jobs.

while many of you will read the subject and go "no it will not be available and thus, is thrown in the wind" WRONG! as long as you live in/near a port city (or own a cargo ship) they will be (somewhat) available for use BUT do NOT use them for a barricade use something else unless that is the only thing in supply, but in this situation a barricade and fort is done AND you have the availability to transport such big things to your fort with ease . Then you take them back to your fort/village and put them down where housing or 1-room buildings are needed and then, fill it up with what ever you need and BOOM you have quick, livable houses or a quick building for hospitals AND it comes with a big, heavy metal door that can be secured from either side. and that is why you should use them BUT do not go out of your way to get them OR do not take unnecessary risk to get them. thank you for hearing what I have to say

I thought it might (maybe) be profitable to review a few (dozen or so) historic fortresses and why they failed.
Here is the early list: 1. Wooden Forts (of any period). 2. Fort Sumpter, SC. 3. Maginot Line (actually a collection of forts). 4. The Atlantic Wall (actually a collection of forts). 5. The Siegfried Line (actually a collection of forts). Let us ignore forts that were abandoned after technology eclipsed them (Fort Point, CA, comes to mind in that collection) UNLESS they were re-activated for a new purpose (Ft Point was re-activated as a hospital then later as a training command) and those abandoned after natural disaster (Foirt Charles, Port Royal, Jamaica was sunk into the sea after an earthquake).

for a good water suplly you need:
a water purifier and a sledge hammer and a shovel... inside your fort use the hammer to smash away through part of the floor on the lowest level then dig down through the dirt and you will come across undergorunds water, if u can use bricks turn it into a well and houst water up (obviuosly youd need some rope, a bucket and a small wodden frame) then use the purifirer to purify it before you drink it. wah lah, you have a well. secondly for food, use ladders and break them in half then put trays between the steps |_| | | looks abit like that, and plant seeds in plant pots and create a kindof upwads farm on ur roof. obviouysly choose carefully wat u grow. but that basically if u understanded that, once ur plants start to grow well should keep u sorted for a long long time.

no zombie can bust down a concrete wall. if you can get ahold of enough, you can fortify your town (or a small vil). to get all that concrete, go with a construction site and a semi (for the wieght)! you could even build a mold for a concrete pungi spike to implant into your wall.

What's not to like, big empty metal box, stack them, bolt them together, bury them. then outfit them however you want.
