Your Name: "Electric"
Your location: A hydro-electric dam

Tell us:

My Survival Plan is complex, complicated, yet easily carried out.

WEAPONS AND LOCATION

Weapons:

Primary Weapon: Kar-98 Bolt Action Rifle, modern variant. The Kar-98 has been historically seen as a very reliable, very accurate weapon. The modern versions can use almost any kind of ammunition, which I would be sure stock up on before-hand. Also, being a single-action weapon, I have much more accuracy and control, which is important for taking out a horde of Zombies.

Secondary Weapon: Baretta M-9 Pistol. The Baretta has a large magazine, which is important for a back-up weapon. Anyone stupid enough to use an RPG as a back-up weapon is going to die within two days of the Zombie breakout. I digress. The Baretta is accurate, and using duck-tape, I could easily fix a flashlight to the weapon for easy aim and night-vision.

Melee Weapon: 2-foot long metal pipe. The pipe, although simple, is much more effective than a weapon such as a katana or a mace. The reason for this is because of its simplicity. There are no sharp edges that one can kill himself with, and the weapon is easily managed. Also, there is a numerous supply of 2-feet long metal pipes.

2nd Melee Weapon: Halberd. In the event that I must fight an oncoming wave of Zombies attempting to come into my fortress, I will be using a Halberd. Most likely I will forge the blade and handle myself, not trusting anything not made within 5 years of the Zombie attack.

Location:

Hydro-electric Dam. The dam is a good choice for a survival location because it is large, spacious, fortified, and surrounded on all sides by water. Also, depending on where the dam is, there will most likely be a supply of wood somewhere around the river. In the preparation stage of my survival plan, I will be building a series of buildings that will fit the needs of out-house, food storage, weapon and ammunition storage, vehicle storage, and medical tent. I will also be digging a large pit laced with wood, which can easily be set on fire to create a wall of fire.

CLOTHING, SUPPLIES, TOOLS, AND VEHICLES

Clothing:

10 grey t-shirts. The plain tight t-shirts allow good mobility, and do not create too much overhang.
10 pairs of jeans. Jeans are very durable, and will last a long time. Also, jeans provide a lot of mobility, with almost no overhang.
1 bandanna- I have long hair, and I don't want to get it ripped out by a Zombie
5 pairs of boots- I'm going to be staying in my shelter for a good 5-10 years. I am going to need at least 5 pairs of boots.
25 pairs of socks- You can't wear boots without socks.
25 pairs of underwear- You can't wear pants without Boxers

Supplies:

-My meals will include:
6 ounces of tofu, 5 ounces of potatoes, 1 slice of bread, and 5 ounces of spinach. I will be drinking a specially formulated protein shake with my 3 meals per day. The meals outlined above are high in protein and starch, yet are low in fat. This is important if I am going to be fighting Zombies on a presumably weekly basis.

-My survival Pack includes:
5 road flares
5 packs of matches
10 candles
10 clips of ammunition for each
gun
First-aid kit

(The survival pack is used on monthly town raids)

Miscellaneous Supplies:
-120 feet of rope
-2 miles of razor wire
-Assorted batteries
-100 yards of extension cords

Tools:
1 pair of wire cutters
10 screw drivers
1 crowbar
1 hammer
1 wrench

Vehicles:

For easy and light transportation, if ever needed, I shall commandeer a light car, preferably a Mazda (my brand of choice) Protege. For more heavy jobs, I will commandeer 2 vehicles: An RV for mass transportation of any team members, and a flat-bed truck, mainly used in raids on the local town (food supplies, tools, weapons, etc.)

IMPLEMENTATION

First 100 Days:

The first 100 days of a zombie invasion are very important, much like the first 100 days of a president's term... sidestepping that issue, allow me to describe my first 100 days.

Most likely, my survival plan will start with me gathering supplies. The first thing to aquire would be a large flat-bed truck, preferably with an empty cargo container. This will be my mode of transportation for the first week or two. Next, I shall gather all the neccissary supplies I will need in order to fortify my location (i.e a hydro-electric dam), any weapons I may need, as well as food supplies. The next step will be to drive to the neareset hydroelectric dam, and set up shop. For details on how to fortify a hydro-electric dam, see my "Defendable Locations" page (LOOK FOR THIS SOON).

After gathering the neccisary supplies, I will return to the nearest town. If need-be, I will fill up on gasoline. After filling up the flatbed truck, I will comandeer an RV as well as a light transport vehicle onto the flatbed, and bring them to the Base of Opperations (aka the hydro-electric dam). My Zombie Plan is now iin full effect. Now all that remains is to protect my shelter against possible Zombie attack, and conduct monthly raids on the town for food and other supplies, while waiting out the Zombie infestation.

I would like to suggest a vehicle a ford F350 or a dodge durango with an extra gas tank hook up in the back with a hose going to the main tank as a mod on either one
