Using a combination of neuroscience and ancient voodoo myth, they found a way to put a person in "Suspended Animation". By inhibiting the brains functions with neurotoxins and replacing the blood with a special saline solution they call "blood water", doctors are able to take as much time as necessary to perform surgery on otherwise time critical subjects. Instead of death, a patient is put into what they call a "dead sleep" until injuries are cared for and the blood is transfused back into the patient. Early trials on Dogs and Pigs have proven successful, and they quickly moved to human testing. KNOW A ZOMBIE WHEN YOU SEE ONE Far too many people will fall victim to a zombie they thought was a fellow survivor. Humanity makes us all want to help save as many people as possible, and when we run accross the random human, its our responsibility to help them. Lose this trait and you might as well become a Zombie yourself. We must remember though that not every one is savable. You MUST "know a zombie when you see one" and eliminate the threat.......

you must have a gun near at all times if you dont have a blunt obgect and stay away from houses stay on rodes or tran traxs o and storys dont stay to long or you might die. if your friend gets turend in to one of them and you dont have guts to kill them lock them up good . and soot them in the hed

There are 2 plans my friends and I have concocted in the event of Z Day in Austin, TX. Which one we choose is dependent on what kind of infection we're dealing with, how advanced it is when we recognize the signs, and where we happen to be when it occurs:
Plan A - Best Case Scenario Hijack an 18-wheeler from the downtown Whole Foods and load up on non-perishables including pastas, canned goods, dried fruits, nuts and water. Vitamin supplements are handy as well, since most products will have limited preservatives, and may go bad quicker than most. From Whole Foods, proceed West on 6th street and take MoPac (Loop 1) North to the Apple complex. God bless Steve Jobs - though it is heavy in windows, they are all bullet-resistant and electronically locked. The entire complex has access to its own self-sustaining solar, wind, and water power sources, keeping it able to maintain itself off the grid at up to 65% capacity. All that means is that only a handful of the hundreds of computers on site would be usable. Also, the campus has satellite internet access and can therefore maintain communication with the rest of the world even if the power or communications grid in the surrounding area goes out. A second person or group of people would be sent to Brackenridge Hospital (or any nearby hospital for that matter) to grab an ambulance or van and fill it with as many basic medical supplies as possible (gauze, stiiching tools, bandages, antibacterials, antibiotics, pain killers, face masks, gloves, etc) and a couple of willing/non-infected medical professionals (doctors preferred, nurses or CNAs are acceptable). This team is scheduled to rendezvous at the Apple site with the person or group from Whole Foods.

If I was faced with a crowd of zombies i would use moltovs if i was on foot, now on a armored bus like in Dawn of the Dead(2004) I would toss gas tanks and shoot them, but i could use more ideas

My uncle owns land on the outskirts of town. Theres a pond with stocked fish and a house over looking the property. Theres a field in proximity of the pond. Would this be a possible, suitable place to live and restarte life if i could somehow fortify it with large heavy fencing??

Well, since i live close to both a walmart, and my friends house (With which he has guns, a lot of them :P) I would go to his house, either on foot or bike, since it's not too far, and Bike is so much quieter than a car. Take him, some guns, and one, possibly two cars to the walmart, which is down the road from us. Since it closes early, no one would be there should the infection spread early through the day. Make a way to get to the roof from either the trucks in the back with ladders, or bust through the doors, then barricade them in the front, And everywhere else. Since it has a green house area, where we can grow crops like tomatoes, we can block the edges around the green house with bags of sand and wood we find laying around. It's a good idea, but long term survival will be a problem, since we would run out of supplies, new members would be coming, possibly, And, we would still have to find a way around it if it was airborne, but since we would survive that long, i would think that we were immune. We would also have to deal with people who would possibly lie about being infected, we've all seen it in movies, and there is ALWAYS one person that says they're not, but actually is. If something like this were to happen, i would be the first person you'd see fighting for my life. It's basically been the main thing on my mind since forever ago, back when i first saw video games like resident evil. It's a possibility that could very well happen, and when it does. All i can say is, Count your Blessings.

hrmm... i already have a primary wep, a modded AR-15 with bayonet, scope, and a shotgun, one of those Ithaca-12 things... should i get a machete, or just stick with my guns?
