The black truck pictured here is the Conquest vehicels Knight xuv. It is a purpose built armored car designed from the same matirials as the buffalo (or so they claim). Unfortunatly, to make parts common world wide the truck's drive line is composed of FORD F550 parts. Not to be anti FORD, but a few of my co workers are ford dorks and as pro ford as they are, they tell lots of horror stories of how often the torque shift transmission (which they call a torque ****) goes out, and they claim the triton v-10 is a gutless gas hog as well as the 6.3 power stroke (which they call a power joke) they say is also a gutless wonder. I dont own a ford so when ford guys say it sucks, i take thier word for it. The Knight XUV comes standard with a torque shift tranny and only offer the 6.3 power stroke and triton v-10 as options. But then agen, i guess if u had the $350,000.00 to buy one, it would stand to reason that you would have the cash to install a Cat/Allison combo (or whatever motor/tranny combo you'd prefer). To give you an idea of how big it is, it stands 8 ft tall, 8ft wide, 20 ft long, and they claim to seat 7 NBA stars comfotably. As standard, it rides on 48inch bfg run flats, and claim to be bullet resistant up to a .50 cal browning BMG round. I wouldent mind haveing one come Z-Day.

sdm1994 posted a long assed ebay link. Links like that mess up Wiki formatting. Used Tiny URL, http://www.tinyurl.com built this much more usable link. Please do NOT post long extended links again folks. Take time to use Tiny URL or like services. Snc |
