The black truck pictured here is the Conquest vehicels Knight xuv. It is a purpose built armored car designed from the same matirials as the buffalo (or so they claim). Unfortunatly, to make parts common world wide the truck's drive line is composed of FORD F550 parts. Not to be anti FORD, but a few of my co workers are ford dorks and as pro ford as they are, they tell lots of horror stories of how often the torque shift transmission (which they call a torque ****) goes out, and they claim the triton v-10 is a gutless gas hog as well as the 6.3 power stroke (which they call a power joke) they say is also a gutless wonder. I dont own a ford so when ford guys say it sucks, i take thier word for it. The Knight XUV comes standard with a torque shift tranny and only offer the 6.3 power stroke and triton v-10 as options. But then agen, i guess if u had the $350,000.00 to buy one, it would stand to reason that you would have the cash to install a Cat/Allison combo (or whatever motor/tranny combo you'd prefer). To give you an idea of how big it is, it stands 8 ft tall, 8ft wide, 20 ft long, and they claim to seat 7 NBA stars comfotably. As standard, it rides on 48inch bfg run flats, and claim to be bullet resistant up to a .50 cal browning BMG round. I wouldent mind haveing one come Z-Day.

I have a couple of questions regarding the M1A1.
A. The bio on the M1A1 mentions siphoning the fuel out of it's tanks, but the fuel is listed as jet fuel. What would happen if you used jet fuel in a gas or diesel engine? I imagine it would run for about three cycles and then blow a hole in each and every piston if not the cylinder walls. B. If the M1A1 does run on jet fuel, wouldn't that make it a fairly sensible choice. Even though it's mileage is terrible, the # of vehicles that run on jet fuel would likely be reduced to a fraction of what they are now, opening up largely untapped reserves of jet fuel that other people would ignore. Essentially, you could just run onto an airport runway, fill up, and your good to go. No invading small towns for gas stations, no siphoning out of wrecked cars, and no fighting over tankers.

You can easily obtain one of the DUCKS. There is a company in Baltimore Maryland which offers rides in them (the company is called Ride The Ducks, how inventive). Of course, they have been painted white and they have a huge "Ride The Ducks" logo down the sides, but that isn't anything a few hundred cans of flat black Krylon couldn't fix. I bet if you welded some extra steel to the sides to cover the exposed areas of the cabin and mounted a couple of M60's or 50 cal MG's you would have one hell of a fighting vehicle, and a basic APC. It even has a retractable ladder for getting into the back, and once it's closed zombies would have a hard time climbing in.

The problem is, maybe some of us owns those military vehicles, and in case of an outbreak, can the military trust us and give us assistance? Even military vehicles are expensive, and in a middle of an outbreak, I know we can get some, but only a few areas have these vehicles left over and because they are military, they can use it against the zeds, leaving us alone...

Here is the Top 10 Infantry Fighting Vehicles (from Militry Channel http://military.discovery.com/technology/vehicles/ifv/ifv-intro.html).
I. personally, don’t agree with the list in it’s entirety, but then again I am not, and do not pretend to be, an expert on armored warfare in any way. There is no way to objectively 'rate' any given vehicle under these conditions. The rating system should be dumped.
