My base would be like this (in order of sight)
1. sign. It would say "Zombie's will be shot on sight" and the base would be west of the sign
2.Wall. like this

3. Town. Yes, a town! It would have a cafe, restaurant, Flats and a pub!
4. Base. This will have a gun room, Medical room and an a Main room
