Is your plan dependent on zombies in your home town, or anywhere?(start typing here...) My plan is based on a general worldwide infecetion with varying degrees of infestation based on geographical locations. however since i am in the navy my home town really has nothing to do with it
Will you be staying in your home or headed somewhere else?
my "home" its a 2 person room in a barracks that contians a restroom, 2 beds and a mini fridge and microwave, i will deffinitly be seeking shelter else where
If you're heading out, how do you plan to get there?
Heading out will be to my ship which is moored on the other side of base, the naval base is split into 2 major sections, the wet side and the dry side with train tracks and highways bisecting the base running from north to south. my plan involves leaving my barracks and walking at a brisk pace over to wetside since my barracks is on dry side. this can be easy or difficult based on if any infected were navy personell on base and if the MPs and rent a cops were smart enough to close the gates. if they did then getting over to wet side should be cake. the only scetchy part would be crossing the sky bridge linking the 2 sides, if there were Z's on my tail and i got on the bridge and realized that there where Z's blocking my path id be screwd. but assuming i cross the bridge then i procceed to my ship, shes moored to a pier with 3 other ships, hopefuly by that time the ships defense force has been alerted an mobilized and are keeping any Z's away. The pier is blocked off by a chain link fence and is sorrounded on 3 sides by water, Actualy the pier in itself would be a good place to make a stand, only one way down it , meanwhile its wide open concrete ,good fields of fire, and if things get dicey just shove off the gang planks to the ships and cut your mooring lines, i dont know how well my ship is stocked for food while in port, but we could last till we put to sea and get an UNREP. the only problem would be moving the ship, in port only the duty section is there at night, so if the attack where to come at night you would have to recall ships personell, they are scatterd all over san diego in civilian and military housing, and likley only single sailors would becoming due to married sailors obligations to the survival of their family. and even if you had enough crew to get underway if would be difficult with out the aid of a tug boat.

The ship has stored food and a desalination plant
What's your weapon of choice? Do you need to reload that thing? Gotta plan for that?
What ever the MA's and GM's give me at the armory, the ship has, M9s M16s and 14s M79 gernade launchers, M60s and M2 .50 cals. Not to mention our 5'' guns and CIWS, ( a 20 mm gattling gun that fires at 4500 rpm, might actualy be a nice anti Z weapon)
