"Since before recorded time, it had swung through the universe in an elliptical orbit so large that its very existence remained a secret of time and space. But now, in the last few years of the twentieth-century, the visitor was returning. The citizens of Earth would get an extra Christmas present this year, as their planet orbited through the tail of the comet. Scientists predicted a light show of stellar proportions. Something not seen on Earth for 65 million years. Indeed, not since the time that the dinosaurs disappeared, virtually overnight."





Two high school girls wake up one morning in Los Angeles and find that almost everyone has turned to dust by a Comet that passed by Earth.

The only survivors are those that were completely surrounded by steel when the comet passed by. The girls a very Erik Estrada looking guy, some kids, flesh-eating zombies and some government scientists who mistakenly left the vents open in their underground steel laboratory (apparently being super smart still makes you stupid) who are working on a syrum by killing the natural survivors

Before you begin to question why in the world this film would be listed on this site. There are zombies in this film. Yes the eventually die and can be killed but they are vicious.
