One of the most important things you'll need in an outbreak
COFFEE!! It warms you up, makes you feel good, the caffeine wakes you up and keeps you up, and it can make a miserable day just a little bit less miserable. Any arguments? I didn't think so. Coffee, for me, is a must have.

Coffee is more likely a "nice to have" rather than a necessity. Coffee may give you that perk in the morning but the problem is that coffee dehydrates you. Tea is better because it gives you a caffine kick, (unless you like those nice, warm and fuzzy herbal teas), and it does not dehydrate you. Most survival experts recommed tea as a moral boost as well. Tea is easier to transport with you because the servings are individual and if you are surviving out in the bush you can add things like blackberry leave for more flavour and nutrients.

Coffee is very good for being awake, this is my 44th hour awake, no sleeping at all, just coffee. If you dont have any liquid, you can just chew the coffee and spit it out when it has no taste anymore. Or if you have a instant coffee, just eat it! Your saliva works really good as Liquid.
