Open Discussion: Hygiene and Cleanliness
You have your weapons, armor, maybe even your vehicle. There is one problem to remain though; Hygiene and Cleanliness! There isn't going to be much time to wash off when ZEDs are crawling around town, and you and twelve other people who haven't bathed in two weeks (or worse) cooped up in a sweaty bus wearing unwashed clothes is not going to be a walk in the park.
Further More, what are you going to do to protect yourself (and your gear) from being splattered with zombie guts? How are you going to avoid getting bits and pieces blown into your mouth?

Tips and Tricks
-Below you will find the best tips/ideas for your hygiene, some taken directly from the thread below!
1. Prepare yourself ahead of time. Don't just stock up on canned food and weapons;
- Buy in BULK, it wont cost you anything extra and when the infestation hits you'll have a good chance of having alot of spare on hand.
2. Button-up ponchos are your friend! Slip one on and you wont have to fuss with the zombie guts getting splattered on your kevlar. Unfortunally, if grabbed you'll have to drop what ever your holding to 'Pop-Out'.
3. Think ahead! When will you have spare time you can devout to your own hygiene. Your going to be alot easier to smell when you havn't bathed for a week.. and the zombies sure will appreciate that.
4. Got your bug-out-bag? Great! Now get a personal hygiene kit! Take a fanny-pack and stuff it with your razors, soap, toothbrush/paste, and what ever else you may need, you wont have to scramble to pick them up in a Wal-Mart infestated with skin-walkers this way.

As for me, I plan to wear a button-up poncho over my gear. The benifits of this would be that, although it is loose and easy to grab, if it IS grabbed it can pop right off (as with a slip-over poncho your screwed). As for my face, I'll slap on some of my goggles (zombie juices in your eyes is not a good thing), a Bandana will cover my mouth and nose as a quick fix, although I plan to see a more suitable face shield later on (perhaps a gas mask).
When it comes to personal Hygiene, it wont be to difficult to swipe some tooth paste, deodorent, and soap from you local one-stop-shopping outlet. Your probably going to head there, and this is going to make survival a butt-load easier, and will also increase morale (your friends and family are probably already dead, atleast you'll smell great). What are you going to do to keep clean, and stay fresh in a zombie world? Post below!
Do you find this valuable?
